Advantages
IconEquipment of the train
IconSeats were very comfortable
IconAll toilets functional
Disadvantages
IconOvercrowded train resulting in stressed staff
IconMany stops on this route with the regional train
The train journey between Erfurt and Jena was a rather mediocre experience. Even though the train itself didn't have any particular flaws, it was unfortunately very overcrowded, which meant that the staff were also extremely stressed and couldn't really do their job, many people didn't have a seat and it was therefore quite cramped and uncomfortable on the train, the route itself is a nice one, but it is noticeable that when you travel by regional train, there are an extremely large number of stops, which takes the flow out of the journey a bit and this uneven movement makes the route feel even longer than it actually is
