Advantages
IconStaff exceptionally friendly
IconTrain was clean
IconTrain was on time
Disadvantages
IconThe train looked outdated
At the turn of the year, I took the Deutsche Bahn train from Nuremberg to Düsseldorf. What struck me was the extraordinarily friendly staff. I have rarely seen people in such a good mood. The seats were comfortable and everything was clean. I was able to stow my luggage without any problems. That was quite different on other journeys. Unfortunately, the wifi was not really fast, which also matched the impression of the train. It looked relatively old. Nevertheless, I had a pleasant journey.
Advantages
IconPunctuality was very good
IconStaff friendly
Disadvantages
IconTrain partly not clean
I took the Deutsche Bahn train from Nuremberg to Düsseldorf. Untypically, the train was very punctual and I reached my destination exactly on time. That was great. The seats were comfortable and there was enough space for my luggage. The power sockets at the seats worked. Unfortunately, the train was not very clean in places, there was leftover food on the floor and the small bin at the seat was full to the brim.
Advantages
IconIt was a pleasant trip
IconStaff very friendly
Disadvantages
IconThe train was very crowded at times
I recently travelled with Deutsche Bahn from Nuremberg to Düsseldorf and I was quite satisfied with the journey. The trains were clean and the seats were comfortable. The toilets were also clean. There was also enough space for luggage. The journey was very pleasant and I was able to relax. The staff were patient and very friendly. The train connection was also very punctual and I arrived at my destination exactly at the scheduled time.
Advantages
IconNice service
IconVery good equipment
IconVery comfortable ride
Disadvantages
IconThe cleanliness was ok but could be improved
IconSomewhat high costs for the ticket
My train journey from Nuremberg to Düsseldorf was enjoyable on the whole, but there are some aspects that could be improved. Let's start with the positive aspects: The train's interior was contemporary and appealing. The seats offered enough space and the possibility to connect electronic devices proved to be practical. The comfort during the journey was pleasant, the seats were comfortable and the limited space did not cause any major inconvenience. The service on board also deserves praise. The staff were friendly and helpful, enquiries were answered quickly and the overall atmosphere on the train was pleasant. Now to the areas that offer room for improvement: The cleanliness of the train was not consistently satisfactory. Some areas appeared well-maintained, while others appeared neglected. More thorough cleaning could improve the overall picture. I felt that the price-performance ratio was not optimal. The cost seemed a little high compared to the amenities on offer. This could be reviewed to make it more attractive to passengers. The duration of the journey could also be optimised to perfect the overall experience. To summarise, my train journey from Nuremberg to Düsseldorf was characterised by good facilities, pleasant comfort and courteous service. Nevertheless, improvements in terms of cleanliness, value for money and journey duration would be desirable to further optimise the overall experience.
Advantages
IconCheap
IconContinuous journey
IconSufficient seating
Disadvantages
IconSlowly
IconPoor wifi
IconDelay
The train journey from Nuremberg to Düsseldorf was attractively priced, but also had some disadvantages. The ICE train had power sockets under the seats and free wifi. While the sockets worked without any problems, the internet was a problem. The internet is slow and there were frequent outages. Due to the quiet compartments, the noise level was pleasant, the seats were clean and the seating comfort was okay. Drinks were offered several times during the journey (coffee, apple juice, etc.), and small meals could also be purchased in the dining car for in-between. The train staff were very friendly and courteous and were able to help fellow travellers find alternative transfer options. Unfortunately, the ICE was delayed (15 minutes on departure and 3 minutes on arrival). It was not necessary to change trains, but with a journey time of almost 4 hours, the journey is still relatively long.
