After a city trip, I wanted to travel back to Hanover with my mate. Unfortunately, the train was very late, which is why we didn't get our connecting trains. But the train was very clean and you could buy food and drink on the train. There was very good wifi and a good seat.

This train was also very busy, which was already indicated in the app, which is why I booked a seat. It was a bit dirty on the train. The tables in particular could have been cleaner. The toilets were okay in terms of hygiene. The staff were very friendly and the service in the on-board bistro was excellent. There were also power sockets and stable wifi on the train. The ticket wasn't expensive as I had booked it a little earlier. The train arrived in Hanover a little late, which I found acceptable.

We travelled by train to get to our holiday destination. It was the best connection, which is why we opted for it. We travelled at lunchtime. Overall, it was comfortable. The train and the toilets were clean at the beginning. As time went on, they became increasingly unclean. Some toilets were completely closed. What we liked best was that we had much more legroom and freedom of movement compared to travelling by car, which is a great advantage, especially for children. What we liked least was that the typical train delays with children quickly became a test of patience. We didn't make use of the on-board entertainment. The on-board café, however, served coffee and hot chocolate. The prices are overpriced. Overall, the ticket was also very expensive.

The connection was well chosen and I got directly to my destination without changing trains. The view en route was really nice. However, the noise level in the compartment was a little higher than expected but still bearable. Wifi was available but unfortunately unreliable. Overall comfort was okay, with small deductions for seat quality. Price-performance was still reasonable but a little cheaper would have been nice. It was a good journey.

I regularly travel from Berlin Central Station to Hanover Central Station using a Deutsche Bahn ICE train. I find my chosen train (ICE 542) particularly practical. I don't need to change trains to Hanover and, as the journey is not very busy, I can always get a seat - even without having to book a seat reservation. The train was a few minutes late, which is fine.

I was travelling through to Warsaw and back again, so I had to change trains in Berlin in the direction of Hanover to go home, as I was visiting a friend in Warsaw. Yes, the train connection was the most sensible option. Anything else would have been too expensive. Smooth journey without incident. I was just cold in the evening. That was around 12 o'clock. The journey was very comfortable. Toilet clean but one cabin was locked, you had to buy another one. I got a coffee and used the electricity/internet network. Service was great the staff was clear and easy to understand. It was for the full €44.99 return journey.

I travelled on the ICE 556 and unfortunately the train was not as clean as I had expected. The seats were fine, but there were still crumbs on some of the tables and the floor seemed dirty. There were also empty cups and paper lying around in the corridors. The train journey was quiet and the train arrived on time, both of which were pleasing. The wifi connection was flawless. All in all, the journey was fine, but the lack of cleanliness is to thank for spoiling the impression a little.

I would travel on this train again at any time and can recommend the route without reservation!
Advantages
IconThe food was delicious
This was my outward journey in 2nd class. I didn't notice anything negative, which is why I can recommend the journey. I really liked the wifi. What I really liked was the food, it was fresh and delivered quickly, plus it wasn't expensive. The staff were also very nice and the toilets were clean. 5 stars, as my train also arrived on time.
Advantages
Iconbeautiful view
That was my outward journey. The train itself was very nice. What was also very nice was my view from the window and the atmosphere. My train arrived on time and also on time. Attention was paid to hygiene and especially cleanliness (toilets). My ticket was relatively cheap and definitely worth it. The staff were very correct and humorous. The wifi had full bars and it was quiet on the train. The trip is highly recommended and gets 5 out of 5 stars.
Advantages
IconThe staff was very nice
That was my outward journey, I really enjoyed it. The food looked and was very tasty. The best thing was that the staff were very nice and paid attention to hygiene. It was very quiet on the train, so the atmosphere was very pleasant. There were several toilets, which were also clean. I was provided with a plaster and there were also several first aid kits. Deserved 5 out of 5 stars, I can only recommend it. In addition, my train also arrived on time.

I enjoyed the trip sensationally and it was very nice. I particularly liked the excellent hygiene and cleanliness, in the toilets and in the compartments. The staff were also very nice and there was a very good welcome. Things like a power socket were fortunately also available. Overall, I can recommend the trip.
Advantages
IconThe wifi was very good
I enjoyed the trip very much. The ride had no negative impressions at all. I liked the wifi best, as it had full bars even though so many people were using it. I actually liked the services as well, as they were very fast and the food was delicious. The toilets were also very clean and there were a majority of toilets. My train arrived on time. I can refer the trip to anyone as it was also cheap and the services were very strong.

I immediately noticed that the staff take their job very seriously, but are also funny, humorous, helpful, kind and fun. There was a lot of choice on the menu and the food arrived quickly and was tasty. If you got hot you could open the window, if you got cold you could turn on the heaters. This is a highly recommended ride, which is why it gets 5 out of 5 stars. Also, the toilets were clean and the train arrived on time. That was my outward journey.
Advantages
IconVery empathetic passengers
Disadvantages
IconThe train was delayed by a few minutes.
As you can see from the photo, this was my outward journey. There was only one small negative thing I want to mention at the beginning, and that was that the train was delayed, but it wasn't that bad. I had multiple power access and good wifi. The guests were very empathetic, so it was very pleasant on the train in terms of volume. If you needed food, you got it. I can recommend the trip as my ticket was cheap.
Advantages
Iconcool atmosphere
Disadvantages
IconTrain delay
This was my outward journey and deserves 4 out of 5 stars. It doesn't get full stars as there was one small negative point and that was the train was 10 minutes late, but not that bad. Also, I went at lunchtime and the journey took 2 hours but felt much shorter as the fellow travellers were very entertaining and quite time making us laugh and co. Then I want to mention something about the clean and hygienic toilets, I felt comfortable using the toilets. My wifi was also great and we were always informed when we were arriving. It was a very pleasant ride so I can recommend it and it was totally cheap. Greetings go out to the lovely staff who kept us entertained the whole time. In general, a great ride.
Advantages
IconGood connection
Disadvantages
IconThe train was full
The journey from Berlin Hauptbahnhof to Hannover Hauptbahnhof by ICE was good. However, the on-board restaurant was unfortunately not staffed. The wifi worked well and enough sockets were also available. The Deutsche Bahn service staff were very friendly and the toilets were clean. Comfort was great and the train was on time. Great value for money at €9.65 in the super Sparpreis Young.
Advantages
IconFast ride
Disadvantages
IconNo Wifi available
The train ride from Berlin to Hanover was a pleasant journey overall. The train journey went by very quickly and only cost 16.90€. So the price-performance ratio is right. Unfortunately, the wifi did not work and the mobile phone network is not very good on the route. In addition, the cleanliness of the toilets was not good. Overall, I can recommend the train journey between the two cities.

The train journey from Berlin to Hanover is highly recommended because it is quicker than by car and you arrive directly in the city centre. The train was always on time, which made for a reliable journey. The ticket price was reasonable and fair compared to other offers. The train was clean overall, but there was some minor soiling. The wifi worked very well, which made the journey very pleasant. The toilets were clean and in good condition, but occasionally a little short of toilet paper. The seats were comfortable, but for longer journeys a little more legroom might be desirable. Overall a positive experience, with small areas for improvement.
