In general, I always find flying very entertaining and more exciting than bus or train journeys. Moreover, the flight was cheap, which made it worthwhile. The crew was nice and polite. The plane was clean and even though there is little equipment, it worked. Due to the weather conditions, we had a small delay. I would have liked the staff to hand out free snacks then. That would have been just accommodating and would have positively lightened the mood. All in all, a good and inexpensive trip, but highly weather-dependent.

It was a case of getting to the airport and there are plenty of food options even though I arrived early in the morning. I flew Eurowings and it was a quick way to get to Berlin that there is always a lot of delay with the train, all in all less than 1 hour for the journey.

I flew with Eurowings from Cologne to Berlin for the first time this year. The gate was very good and quick to reach. The service on board was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. The toilets were not completely clean, but not tragic on a short-haul flight.

The business flight from Cologne to Berlin proved to be excellent. The high-quality equipment with wifi and power sockets enabled me to work highly efficiently during the flight. The seats in business class proved to be extremely comfortable and the generous legroom provided sufficient space for relaxation. My reservation for the flight went smoothly and the flight times were well suited to my business needs. All in all, this business flight was an excellent experience. I highly recommend this flight and will definitely consider it for my future business trips.

I recently had the opportunity to fly from Cologne to Berlin for work. The flight took about 65 minutes. The boarding was actually very quick and pleasant. Once on the plane, I had a power socket under the seat in the middle. I found that very pleasant. So I could start working straight after take-off. We not only took off on time, but also landed on time. The pilot even made a very nice announcement about the weather. I didn't buy any snacks, as they were too expensive for me. Besides, you can do without food for an hour. When I got off the plane, I was given a very nice farewell by the crew. I would fly from Cologne to Berlin again at any time.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I would now like to evaluate my flight from Cologne to Berlin. First of all, I would like to mention some positive aspects. I arrived on time from Cologne to Berlin. Even over punctual! There was no need to change planes, so I thought this was great as it was less hassle. The wifi was excellent. My mobile phone and laptop were able to connect to the internet very quickly. The price was excellent. Really very well justified. Especially in times of inflation. However, the toilets were not very clean and not well maintained. It also didn't smell very good. The seats were quite small and not necessarily comfortable. The staff were not friendly. They also did not greet me or say goodbye. During the flight, I kept calling you. Despite this, the staff were not friendly or respectful to me. Overall, but a satisfactory trip.

The flight was very pleasant as only half of the plane was full. We took off on time and even arrived a little faster. The flight attendants were extremely friendly and the plane was also very clean. Without a seat reservation, I had a great window seat and the whole row to myself. Great value for money.

My flight from Cologne to Berlin was a positive experience overall. The check-in process at Cologne Bonn Airport was easy and smooth, with friendly staff giving helpful instructions. The flight itself went without a hitch and the seats were comfortable enough for a short flight and the entertainment system on board was sufficient to pass the time. The plane landed on time at Berlin Tegel airport and the luggage arrived quickly and undamaged. However, the flight was a little more expensive. However, if time and flexibility are more important than price, this flight is a convenient way to travel from Cologne to Berlin quickly and easily. Overall, I was satisfied with my flight experience and would recommend it to other travellers.

I recently had the opportunity to fly with Eurowings from Cologne to Berlin and was overall very satisfied with my experience. Check-in was quick and easy and boarding went smoothly. The plane itself was clean and comfortable, although space was a bit limited. The staff were friendly and accommodating and I was regularly provided with drinks and snacks. There was no major turbulence during the flight and the flight time of about 1 hour passed quickly. The pilot kept us informed during the flight and informed us about the flight progress and the estimated time of arrival. Overall, I was very satisfied with my Eurowings flight from Cologne to Berlin. The price was reasonable. The service was good, then fly with this airline again.

Last week I flew with Eurowings from Cologne to Berlin and was very excited. The flight was only half booked and I had a complete row of 3 to myself. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The flight was shorter than stated, only 50min. The gate was quickly accessible. The plane was very clean. One could have transferred without any problems. The price was a bit expensive, but also due to the fact that I booked at short notice. As a tip: save money for a seat and just don't book it if you don't care.

We recommend using the train as it is the most popular way to get from Cologne to Berlin among Omio's users.
For domestic flights we recommend to arrive 1.5 to 2 hours before departure. Please check the website of your departure airport if in doubt. Some airports may offer booking time slots for security checks or offer additional information on when to get there based on time of day.
Most airlines permit carry-on bags that fit within specific dimensions (e.g., 22 x 14 x 9 inches or 56 x 36 x 23 cm), including handles and wheels. Bags must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you.
Many airlines impose weight limits, commonly ranging between 7 kg (15 lbs) and 12 kg (26 lbs). Typically, passengers are allowed one carry-on bag and one personal item (for example a purse, laptop bag, or backpack). Personal items must fit under the seat in front of you. Budget Airlines (like Ryanair or Wizz Air) have stricter size and weight limits, often requiring fees for larger carry-ons. Full-Service Airlines have more lenient policies, sometimes including more spacious dimensions or higher weight limits depending on your ticket class.
The list of items prohibited on an airplane varies by country and airline, but in general, the following items are not allowed in carry-on or checked baggage: Weapons and self-defence items, sharp objects, flammable materials, explosives, toxic substances, or liquids over 100ml (except for medications and baby essentials). In checked baggage, firearms (without authorization), explosives, large lithium batteries, and hazardous chemicals are prohibited. Electronic cigarettes must be in carry-on bags, while alcohol and dry ice have restrictions. Always check with your airline for specific regulations.
Germany uses the euro (€) as its currency. Travelers generally find it convenient to use cards, especially contactless payments, in cities and larger establishments. However, cash is still widely accepted and sometimes preferred in smaller shops, markets, and rural areas. Carrying some cash is recommended for flexibility.
In Berlin, travelers should be cautious of pickpocketing, especially in crowded areas like public transport, Alexanderplatz, and popular tourist sites. Fake charity collectors and street vendors selling counterfeit goods are common scams. It's also advisable to avoid unlicensed taxi services and be wary of distraction techniques used by scammers to steal belongings. Staying alert in nightlife districts can help prevent theft and other safety issues.
Pack lightweight, versatile clothing suitable for the destination's climate, and use secure, lockable luggage to protect belongings. Keep essential items like travel documents, medication, and valuables in a carry-on bag for easy access. Use packing organizers or cubes to maximize space and maintain order. Lastly, include a small first aid kit and personal hygiene items for added comfort during travel.
