Buses from Barcelona to Seville depart twice daily, in the mid-afternoon and late evening. Both services are overnight journeys, enabling arrival in Seville in the morning.
Buses from Barcelona to Seville depart from Estacio d'Autobusos Barcelona Nord to the north-west of the Barcelona city centre. The Estacio d'Autobusos Barcelona Nord bus station is linked to Barcelona's efficient Metro system, with journeys to the city centre taking about 20 minutes. Taxis are also available, and will make the journey to central Barcelona in about 15 minutes. The Barcelona Metro system operates until midnight, while some bus services run throughout the night.
Seville is the cultural centre of the south of Spain, and is famous for its majestic buildings, including the lavish Real Alcazar palace and the impressive Cathedral of Seville. Seville's Museo de Bellas Artes is regarded as one of the finest art galleries in Spain. The city has many regular festivals and is well known for its vibrant nightlife. Buses from Barcelona to Seville arrive at Plaza de Armas near the Guadalquivir river. Local buses take about 20 minutes to make the journey to the centre, which is also an easy walk from the bus station. Taxis are plentiful and inexpensive and take about 15 minutes for the journey between the Plaza de Armas bus station and the centre of Seville. Night buses run on selected routes only and all services end at about 2am.
