Buses in Spain are an affordable way to travel between cities. A number of bus companies offer both domestic and international routes. There are direct buses from Granada to Seville each day including at weekends. The route is operated by ALSA and departures in the morning and at night are available from Monday to Thursday with more throughout the day at weekends. The journey takes about 3 hours although late night services take a little longer. The first Granada to Malaga bus departs close to 3:00 a.m. while the last leaves Granada around 8:30 p.m.
Buses from Granada to Seville depart regularly from the main Granada bus station. The modern and well-planned station is approximately 2 miles from the centre of Granada and can be reached easily. Unfortunately, no direct service to the bus station is available at present but travelers can simply take a bus or train to the railway station and complete the trip on the SN1 bus. Taxis will also drop travelers at the station from any part of the city.
Most buses from Granada to Seville arrive at Plaza de Armas bus station through a few arrive at Prado de San Sebastian bus station. Plaza de Armas bus station is conveniently located for the old town and travelers can catch local buses or take a taxi. Prado de San Sebastian is also served by the tram and metro services and is close to most tourist attractions. Travelers can catch buses close to both stations from early morning till 11.00 pm and a night service is available till 2.00 am. The C3 and C4 circle routes are particularly useful and cover the Old Town area. Taxis are also available.
