Traveling to Toulouse is simple. Upon arrival by plane, take the shuttle bus to the center of town or buses 25, 30, 66 or 88. It is also possible to travel to Toulouse via high speed TGV. In that case, travelers arrive at Matabiau station, which is on the city Metro network, and is walking distance from city center hotels.

Traveling around Toulouse

Getting around Toulouse is relatively hassle free due to the combination of Metro, bus and tram services. All of them are covered by Tissio group tickets. Single tickets can be bought on the buses, some of which keep going until 1:00 a.m. In addition, sight-seers can take advantage of a free shuttle bus around the central attractions, which runs Monday to Saturday. Cyclists can also use the VeloToulouse service. If you do rent a bike, be sure to pick up a map of the town’s cycle paths from a tourist office.
