There is no easier way to get from A to B. With the AVE (comparable to the ICE) you can get from Barcelona to Granada in 6 hours. And without changing trains. The train was very modern and the journey was therefore really relaxed. What's more, the train was punctual to the minute, which is something we were damaged by. :) We travelled a lot by train in Spain and can only recommend it in all respects. Very relaxed!

The journey on train 9484 took 6.5 hours and included one change of trains. The journey was largely smooth and on time. Changing trains went smoothly but took a little longer. The seats were comfortable, but the cleanliness of the train could be improved. The journey went well overall, although it was a little tedious due to the long journey time and changeover. I was able to work on my laptop due to the good wifi and power sockets. I was also able to buy something to eat.

Common scams include unofficial tour guides offering overpriced or fake tours. It's advisable to use official services and be mindful of personal belongings in busy spots to ensure a safe visit.
Pack lightweight, versatile clothing suitable for the destination's climate, and use secure, lockable luggage to protect belongings. Keep essential items like travel documents, medication, and valuables in a carry-on bag for easy access. Use packing organizers or cubes to maximize space and maintain order. Lastly, include a small first aid kit and personal hygiene items for added comfort during travel.
