The reason was a private visit and the train was the best and most comfortable option for me compared to travelling by car or bus. I particularly liked the food in the on-board restaurant, which was really surprisingly tasty. The cleanliness on the train and in the toilets was also okay, the seats were comfortable and I was able to make good use of the time thanks to the wifi and power sockets.What was less good was that the train arrived a little late and the service, although friendly, seemed a little strange in places.I paid around 40 euros for my ticket, which I feel is fair value for money for this connection and the comfort on offer.Overall, it was a good journey with minor compromises and I would definitely travel the route by train again.

In my opinion, the train was not completely hygienic, the toilet was unclean and had a yellow toilet seat, there was also no soap or disinfectant in the toilet. The staff were rarely present. There was a snack machine as well as a coffee machine, only the snack machine worked. My seat was average, it had a broken armrest, which still just worked. The floor was sticky and did not look clean. On the other hand, the train was very fast and I reached my destination on time.

So I didn't have to use the Flexticket with alternative routes and changes. Without a BahnCard, I find the price minimally overpriced.
