Long journeySomewhat outdatedPoor cateringThe journey on the SJ 325 from Stockholm to Umeå was fine, but there was room for improvement. With a journey time of over7 hours, the journey was quite long, even though it was a direct connection. The seats were comfortable, but parts of the train looked a bit dated. The food on board was unfortunately nothing special as the choice was limited and the quality of the hot food could have been better. Some of the snacks were fresh, but the prices were quite high for what was on offer. On the plus side, the train was on time and the on-board staff were friendly and helpful. An acceptable option for this route, but there is room for improvement, especially in the service and food on offer.
