I travelled from London Waterloo to Southampton Central on South Western Railway L57918 and found the journey very pleasant. As soon as I boarded the train, I was greeted warmly by the staff. Unfortunately, I hadn't reserved any seats, but that wasn't a problem as there were plenty of free seats to choose from. The seats were also very comfortable and the train itself was kept very clean. In addition, the journey times were kept to perfectly, as I left London Wateloo on time at 08:35 and also arrived in Southampton Central on time at 09:51. A very nice journey, I'd like to do it again and again.

The train journey from London to Southampton was the worst on my trip to England. The train ticket was very cheap and it's also a quick way to get from London to Southampton. However, the train was completely overcrowded and therefore very noisy, which was a bit nerve-wracking. The journey takes a good 2 hours. Unfortunately, I had to change trains 3 times because I travelled at a stupid time. However, there are also direct connections.

The South Western Railway L57918 provides a reliable and safe connection between London Waterloo and Southampton Central. I really enjoyed the journey as I was greeted warmly by the staff as soon as I boarded the train. I hadn't reserved any seats, but there were plenty of free seats available. The train was also very clean, both inside and in the toilets. And the seats were very comfortable. The train departed London Waterloo on time at 08:35 and arrived at Southampton Central at 09:51 (01h and 16min journey time).

I travelled from London Waterloo to Southampton Central on South Western Railway L57918. I hadn't reserved any seats and there were only a few available, and unfortunately I chose the worst one as there was some chewing gum stuck to the seat in front of me. Apart from that, the train left on time and arrived at my destination on time, the service on the train was very nice and all in all it was a good journey.

The IC 582 passenger train, which made the connection between London and Southampton, achieved a positive overall result. With a journey time of 1 hour and 13 minutes, the train journey was pleasingly short. The carriages also looked modern and clean, and the space and comfort of the seats were impressive. It was particularly pleasing that the train was equipped with free wifi, which also worked without any problems. A fact that could certainly be counted as a plus point. The only point of criticism from the specialist centre was the one change of trains, which somewhat impaired the smooth running of the train journey. While this was certainly a problem that could be overcome with less luggage, the circumstances of changing trains seemed rather unnecessary given the proportions of the seemingly short overall journey. Nevertheless, it should be noted that the journey was characterised by pleasant punctuality without any problems and by the friendly reception of the passengers by the service staff. All in all, a positive conclusion that makes us recommend the London-Southampton route.
