It's a good train, I've ridden it many times. It is very clean and fast. You don't have to change trains very often and when you do, you have enough time. It is very punctual and the price is very good. There are never many people inside and it is very quiet. There is a socket by each seat to charge your mobile phone. The toilet is easy to reach and very clean. I can only recommend it. It's very pleasant to go by train and easy. Not for children only with parents.

My ICE journey from Freiburg im Breisgau to Berlin of about 7 hours was very good. The amenities were top notch. The wifi worked and the seats were very comfortable. In addition, the train was very punctual. Unfortunately, the cleanliness in the corner was not really good.... especially the toilets were very unhygienic.

I actually like travelling by German rail, as it's usually the cheapest way to travel and, above all, it helps to protect the environment. It's also quite comfortable as you only have to get on the train and then don't have to worry about anything else. There are power sockets, wifi and it's usually clean with nice staff. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of delays or even entire train cancellations.

We like travelling by ICE very much and often. The service is always great. The staff help wherever they can. We book 1st class, where the seats are very comfortable and you can sit comfortably for a few hours. Unfortunately, hygiene is also a negative in 1st class. The tables are unclean and sticky. Even on the floor there were leftovers from the previous seat. Unfortunately, the wifi is also not designed for a constant internet connection.
