It was a very nice and pleasant journey with the train. It has very clean and comfortable seats. The aisles are wide enough to walk through comfortably. The toilets are clean and are also cleaned regularly. The price was good as you always pay so much. Is suitable for everyone except children. There is a good atmosphere on the train and the staff are very friendly. Very nice people.

My ICE journey from Berlin to Hamburg to Freiburgim Breisgau of about 7 hours was very good. The facilities were top notch. The wifi worked and the seats were very comfortable. The train was also very punctual. Unfortunately, the cleanliness in the corner was not really good.... especially the toilets were very unhygienic.

The seats offered enough legroom and comfort to make the long journey enjoyable. Unfortunately, there were some inconveniences during the journey. The train did not arrive on time. It is therefore advisable to plan a time buffer for appointments. Another disadvantage was that there was no food on board as none was delivered. This was a bit annoying as I hadn't packed enough food. Nevertheless, the service and friendliness of the railway staff was fine. They were available to answer questions and were helpful. The price-performance ratio of the train journey from Freiburg in Berlin was acceptable. Overall, the train journey is a practical option to get from Berlin to Freiburg. Especially if you want to work during the journey. However, you should be prepared for possible unpunctuality and the lack of catering.

It was very cold in the compartment on the entire train journey. In 1st class the tables were unclean and not wiped. They were very sticky, the Deutsche Bahn staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was able to travel very comfortably as the seats were comfortable enough.
