The journey by train from Berlin to Freiburg was overall pleasant and comfortable, but the price was not that cheap. Although the train had modern and well-maintained trains, I was surprised at how much I had to pay for the ticket. There was enough space and comfortable seats, but for the price I would have expected a few extra amenities like wifi or food options to be offered. Overall, the ride was pleasant, but the price was just too high compared to other means of transport. When it comes to price, I would consider another travel option.

I recently took a train journey from Berlin to Freiburg and was not particularly satisfied overall. Although the train is a reliable and convenient way to get from A to B, I'm sorry to say that the price was not favourable. The journey itself went without incident, but the price was simply too high for the comfort and duration of the journey. There were no special amenities such as free wifi or a sufficient selection of snacks and drinks. The space on the train was also rather cramped and I had difficulty sitting down and resting comfortably. All in all, the train journey from Berlin to Freiburg was rather a disappointment for me, especially because of the high price. Considering that there are other transport options that are cheaper and more comfortable, it is hard to give a clear recommendation for this train journey. Overall, I have to say that I was disappointed with the train journey from Berlin to Freiburg, especially because of the high price compared to the amenities offered.
Advantages
IconWork in peace during the long stretch
Disadvantages
IconNo food on board
My train journey from Berlin to Freiburg was satisfactory overall and there are a few aspects that I would like to emphasise in particular. One of the outstanding features of this journey is definitely the ability to work on my laptop in peace, as the wifi on board is sufficiently stable. This is particularly important on such a long journey and it significantly increased my productivity during the trip. The cleanliness and comfort of the seats in first class also deserve praise. The seats offered enough legroom and comfort to make the long journey enjoyable. Unfortunately, there were some inconveniences during the journey. The train did not arrive on time. It is therefore advisable to plan a time buffer for appointments. Another disadvantage was that there was no food on board as none was delivered. This was a bit annoying as I hadn't packed enough food. Nevertheless, the service and friendliness of the railway staff was fine. They were available to answer questions and were helpful. The price-performance ratio of the train journey from Freiburg in Berlin was acceptable. Overall, the train journey is a practical option to get from Berlin to Freiburg. Especially if you want to work during the journey. However, you should be prepared for possible unpunctuality and the lack of catering.
