We travelled from Frankfurt to Bonn with several people and were satisfied with the journey itself. We set off late and accordingly arrived a little late, which meant we missed our connection to change trains and had to wait a little. The toilet hygiene could be a little better. However, the extremely friendly staff and the internet and charging facilities for mobile phones etc. were positive.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconMalfunction
IconUnpunctual
I was travelling from Frankfurt to Bonn on business. Unfortunately, the whole journey wasn't that great, as the train was almost 30 minutes late. After arriving on the train and finding a seat, I wanted to recharge my devices during the journey so that I had enough battery for the day. Unfortunately, there were no charging facilities available. The train was also very full and unfortunately there were delays on the railway tracks during the rest of the journey due to fallen trees. Unfortunately, this experience was not too positive for me.
Advantages
IconPerfect service
IconA good meal in the on-board bistro
Disadvantages
IconPricewise okay
This was one of my holiday trips and one of my best trips within Germany. To celebrate my holiday, I also had food delivered to me in the on-board bistro, which tasted very good despite the knowledge that it was only reheated food. The price was steep, of course, but I wanted to treat myself. The service and the other ICE staff were very nice and the journey went by very quickly.
Advantages
IconRelaxed
IconQuiet
IconPunctual
Disadvantages
Icon-
The conductor was very nice to me. The train was very clean and my seat was comfortable. There was a power socket at my seat and there was wifi, which even worked quite well. The train was well cleaned and didn't smell. The toilet too. The journey took about 2 hours. It was quiet in my compartment and I could relax and watch Netflix. I could stay on my train and didn't have to change trains.
Advantages
IconFast drive
Disadvantages
IconThe train was dirty and not tidy
I travelled to Bonn on the IC2441. Unfortunately, the train wasn't tidy before it set off, as there was wrapping paper on the floor, at least in my compartment, and the rubbish bins hadn't been emptied either. At least the staff were nice to me and tidied it up during the journey and removed the rubbish. Unfortunately, I didn't have a seat at the table this time, so I couldn't use my laptop, but the train wifi worked well via my mobile phone. I arrived a good 2 hours later and was happy that it hadn't taken long
Advantages
IconGood wifi
IconComfortable
IconSimple booking
Disadvantages
IconUnfriendly staff
IconDirty floors
I didn't particularly like this train journey with Deutsche Bahn because the staff were quite unfriendly when I asked for my train ticket. I also didn't like the fact that the train floor was very dirty. However, there were also positive points that I liked, namely the easy online booking. Other good points were the good wifi and the cosy seats. I also liked the fact that I didn't have to change trains and that I reached my destination quickly.
Advantages
IconVery fast arrival
IconNice staff
Disadvantages
IconPoor wifi
IconBroken rubbish bins
This train journey really impressed me, as the train was not delayed and I arrived at my destination on time. Another plus point is that the staff were very nice when they asked for my train ticket. I also liked the ease of booking online in the Deutsche Bahn app. The ticket was also very cheap and I didn't have to change trains. However, there were two aspects that I didn't like, one of which was the wifi on the train not working. Another bad aspect was that the rubbish bins didn't work.
Advantages
IconOnline ticket
Disadvantages
IconChangeover
I took the ICE from Frankfurt am Main main station to Bonn main station. The whole journey took about 1 1/2 hours. I was able to take the ICE from Frankfurt to Siegburg, then had a 10-minute layover there and had to take another train to Bonn. The journey itself was relaxed. I don't like changing trains because I'm always worried about missing my connection. But this time everything worked out fine.
Advantages
IconClean
IconNice people
Disadvantages
IconA little loud
I was on the ICE 928 for about three hours. It was a bit noisy at the beginning of the journey, but otherwise quite good. It was very clean and the people there were also very nice. The view from the window was also very nice. I was able to go about my work without being disturbed. Super.
Advantages
IconGood service
IconPunctuality
Disadvantages
IconWifi unreliable
The journey from Frankfurt to Bonn was uneventful. The train was very clean and well-maintained, so you felt comfortable throughout. The air conditioning also did a good job. There were no delays during the journey. The train had wifi, but it wasn't really reliable. It broke down regularly. Apart from that, I can emphasise the service positively.
Advantages
IconPunctual
IconTrain was clean
Disadvantages
IconLoud in the compartment
We arrived on time at our destination station, Bonn Central Station. The journey took about 2 hours and I didn't have to change trains. Wifi was available and worked perfectly. There were also power sockets. I found my seat comfortable. The train was very well cleaned and even the toilet was clean. Unfortunately, it was very loud in my compartment, which was very tiring because my headphones couldn't mask anything.
Advantages
IconGreat booking
Disadvantages
IconVery dirty
I thought it was a pity that the train was very dirty, as were the toilets. Nevertheless, I really liked the fact that it was very easy to book online and that the ticket was quite cheap. I also liked the fact that I found a ticket that meant I didn't have to change trains and therefore reached my destination quickly. I also thought it was great that the wifi worked perfectly and the train wasn't delayed.
Advantages
IconSimple booking
Disadvantages
IconDirty loo
As a person who likes to travel very often, I think the journey from Frankfurt to Bonn was very good. The reasons are the simple and inexpensive online booking in the Deutsche Bahn app, the quick arrival at my destination and the fact that I didn't have to change trains. I also liked the well-functioning wifi. However, there was one aspect that I didn't like, and that was the dirty loo.
Advantages
Iconpunctual
Disadvantages
IconPoor reception
As I was travelling on business, it was great that the train was relatively punctual. However, the good mood on the train was gone when I realised that there was no good reception. At least it was clean and comfortable in my seat. I paid a fair price when I bought the ticket and everything went smoothly. Unfortunately only 4 stars due to the poor connection.
Advantages
IconPrice
Disadvantages
IconUnpunctual
IconDirty
I travelled from Frankfurt am Main to Bonn. The only positive thing was the price of this connection. I'm a bit lost for words when it comes to punctuality and cleanliness. Unfortunately, the train arrived almost 40 minutes late and didn't make a very good impression, it was very dirty and didn't smell particularly pleasant. The sanitary facilities were unfortunately closed due to a defect, which is really a no-go for me.
Advantages
IconComfortable ride
IconFast
Disadvantages
IconA few minutes late for departure
The comfortable and speedy journey from Frankfurt to Bonn was via Siegburg/Bonn. Despite a slight delay at the start, I arrived at Bonn Central Station on time. From Siegburg/Bonn, I continued my journey by light rail from Siegburg to Bonn main station. I was given a seat on the ICE without a seat reservation.
