My journey from Frankfurt to Munich by Deutsche Bahn went smoothly. The train was fast and much quicker than a car journey. The compartment was clean and comfortable. The service on board was friendly and the on-board bistro offered a wide range of food. Unfortunately, the train was quite full, so it was a bit noisy at times. We also reached Munich with a slight delay. The wifi didn't work for parts of the journey. All in all, however, it is recommended to travel this route.

The train journey from Frankfurt am Main to Munich offered some positive aspects, but also some challenges. Positive aspects were the punctual departure and the comfort levels on the ICE train. The seats were comfortable and there was enough legroom. The journey offered beautiful views of the countryside. However, the prices for food and drinks in the on-board catering were high, which can be burdensome for longer journeys.

My journey from Frankfurt to Munich was on ICE 525 in second class. There were no delays, which was good. Another positive was that there was a word bistro with tasty snacks and drinks. Free wifi was also available to passengers. However, hygiene was a bit lacking. The floor was sticky in places and the windows were dirty.

I recently had the pleasure of travelling by train from Frankfurt to Munich and I would like to share my experience. Overall, it was an extremely positive journey, but there was also a small disappointment. Two of the most notable positive features of this train journey are. Comfort and convenience: the seats on this train were, extremely comfortable and provided enough space to feel at ease during the journey. Legroom was generous, which is invaluable, especially on longer journeys such as this one from Frankfurt to Munich. The seats were ergonomically designed and allowed for a relaxed seating position. Punctuality and reliability: A big plus point of this trip was the punctuality of the train. It arrived exactly at the scheduled departure time and even reached its destination a few minutes earlier than expected. This reliability is especially important when you have business appointments or connecting trains to catch. It was reassuring to know that you could rely on the train's schedule. The only negative feature I experienced during my journey was: Cost: Although the overall quality of the trip was great, I found the ticket prices a bit high. It would be nice if there were more affordable options to travel this route, especially for travellers on a limited budget. Despite this minor limitation, my overall train journey from Frankfurt to Munich was extremely pleasant. The comfort, punctuality and overall quality of the journey far outweighed the price factor. I would definitely recommend this train route.

The ICE 525 offers a fast and efficient connection between Frankfurt and Munich. It was a successful combination of comfort, speed and a pleasant environment. However, some minor improvements in service and facilities could help to make the travel experience even more pleasant. Specifically, I mean that the wifi did not work smoothly. Likewise, the assortment in the on-board bistro was somewhat limited.

The train journey from Munich to Frankfurt was an absolutely pleasant experience that will remain in my positive memory. The train boat, an impressive equipment, which raised the comfort during the journey to the highest level. The seats were comfortable and ergonomically designed, which made for a pleasant feeling even during the longer duration of the journey. The generous legroom added to the cosiness. The service on board also deserves praise. The train staff were friendly and helpful, and the gastronomic area. A varied selection of snacks and drinks. The cleanliness on the train was remarkable/the carriages were obviously cleaned regularly, did you a pleasant atmosphere amounted. I was really impressed with the punctuality of this train journey. The train left exactly at the scheduled departure time and reached Frankfurt without any significant delays. This reliability is particularly valuable as time is often a crucial factor when travelling. I found the price-performance ratio to be extremely fair. The amenities offered, the comfort and the service definitely justify the ticket price. It is gratifying to be able to enjoy such a pleasant travel experience for a reasonable price. Of course, there were a few negative points, but they hardly matter. The Wi-Fi connection could possibly be improved to allow travellers to use the internet seamlessly. In addition, the selection of vegetarian and hot dishes at the on-board restaurant could be expanded to meet the needs of different passengers. Overall, however, the positive aspects of this train journey far outweigh the negative. The excellent facilities, the high level of comfort, the friendly service, the cleanliness, the punctuality and the ferry price-performance ratio make this travel option a first-class choice. I would definitely recommend the train journey from Munich to Frankfurt and am already looking forward to my next opportunity to experience it again.

IconThe train was too full
My train journey from Frankfurt (Hbf) to Munich was fine. The wifi on the train was average, as was the toilet and the seats were comfortable, and the staff were friendly. We had a journey time of 3 hours and 30 minutes with only 10 minutes delay. The value for money was good as I paid about €75. Overall the journey was satisfactory but the wifi could have been better. However, the comfortable seats and friendly staff made up for the minor inconveniences. I would consider the train for the route, but hope for an improvement in wifi and toilets for future trips.

I liked travelling from Frankfurt to Munich because I saw a lot of exciting things. The route was relatively short and the price was also okay. The ride was good, but unfortunately I didn't have a power socket. I had wifi but couldn't operate my laptop. The seats were inconveniently not pleasant either, as they stank. The volume was also too loud, but the food was very good. The staff was very nice and I had a reservation option. I also received information. The toilets were very clean and I didn't have to change trains. The train was on time and the duration of the journey was nice and short. The price was also very good. Price-performance ratio is good.

Unfortunately, some disabled passengers were not helped to board until it was too late. However, this was mainly due to other problems that apparently had to be resolved first. Nevertheless, the service staff did a very good job. This was not intentional on the part of the staff. They were friendly and made sure that everyone on the train was happy. The comfort was also outstanding. A small DB sweet was also distributed, which was also thoughtful. The train was otherwise very full.

The train from Cologne to Munich was a pleasant journey. The service staff were very courteous and comfort was provided. A power socket was connected to the seat and there was also a restaurant with drinks and snacks. Booking was easy and payment was secure. Unfortunately, the train was unpunctual and the information on the platform was very inaccurate. In addition, alternatives were omitted and not communicated to the guests.

The ICE journey from Frankfurt am Main main station to Munich main station was really pleasant. In addition to a good price and a journey time of just over 3 hours, you get great facilities inside the train, such as individual air conditioning and upholstered seats. You are also looked after by extremely reliable and friendly staff. The ICE's free wifi worked well throughout the entire journey and had no major outages.

The train connection from Frankfurt am Main to Munich impressed me with its comfort, speed and hygiene, as is usually the case with ICE connections, but this time it was overshadowed by problems on the train line. We had to stop just one station after Frankfurt am Main because there were supposedly problems with the overhead line, then there was no more communication with us and in the end I arrived in Munich about 2 hours late.

The return journey was a thoroughly positive experience, just like the outward journey. The staff were super friendly and the train was thoroughly cleaned. I had perfect wifi. It was quiet on the train and there was a pleasant atmosphere. The temperature was also perfect. I had to change trains once and the whole journey took about 3.5 hours. The train service receives positive feedback.
