Frankfurt (Main) Hbf to Munich train with Deutsche Bahn (ICE,EC,RE,IC)

We also reached Munich with a slight delay. The wifi didn't work for parts of the journey. All in all, however, it is recommended to travel this route.

My train journey from Frankfurt (Hbf) to Munich was fine. The wifi on the train was average, as was the toilet and the seats were comfortable, and the staff were friendly. We had a journey time of 3 hours and 30 minutes with only 10 minutes delay. The value for money was good as I paid about €75. Overall the journey was satisfactory but the wifi could have been better. However, the comfortable seats and friendly staff made up for the minor inconveniences. I would consider the train for the route, but hope for an improvement in wifi and toilets for future trips.

Unfortunately, the train was unpunctual and the information on the platform was very inaccurate. In addition, alternatives were omitted and not communicated to the guests.

The ICE journey from Frankfurt am Main main station to Munich main station was really pleasant. In addition to a good price and a journey time of just over 3 hours, you get great facilities inside the train, such as individual air conditioning and upholstered seats. You are also looked after by extremely reliable and friendly staff. The ICE's free wifi worked well throughout the entire journey and had no major outages.

The train connection from Frankfurt am Main to Munich impressed me with its comfort, speed and hygiene, as is usually the case with ICE connections, but this time it was overshadowed by problems on the train line. We had to stop just one station after Frankfurt am Main because there were supposedly problems with the overhead line, then there was no more communication with us and in the end I arrived in Munich about 2 hours late.

The return journey was a thoroughly positive experience, just like the outward journey. The staff were super friendly and the train was thoroughly cleaned. I had perfect wifi. It was quiet on the train and there was a pleasant atmosphere. The temperature was also perfect. I had to change trains once and the whole journey took about 3.5 hours. The train service receives positive feedback.
