I travelled from Bremen to Hamburg on the RE41 in March this year for private reasons. As I am normally used to travelling by ICE due to my job, I was slightly overwhelmed trying to find a seat as the train was very full. I set off in the morning and eventually got a seat. However, for the 1-hour journey it wouldn't have been too bad if I had to stand. The service wasn't really there, which is also understandable. I arrived at my destination on time

I was really delighted with the last train journey. Everything went smoothly, the train arrived on time and the staff were friendly. The seats were comfortable and there was even working wifi. The on-board bistro was well-stocked and clean. I was able to relax and work the whole way and enjoy the view. This is how travelling by train should always be. It actually makes travelling by train fun

The journey from Bremen to Hamburg was very relaxed. The train was hardly full and was therefore relatively quiet. The train was mostly clean and the seats were comfortable. The staff were also very friendly, so there were no problems with the ticket inspection. The ticket wasn't expensive either. There were no delays during my journey. The only thing that bothered me here was the faulty toilet. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

There was no on-board bistro, but the toilet was clean and the price was really quite reasonable. I had really expected worse. So I can recommend the trip!

Fortunately, the toilet facilities in my ICE were clean. That made the journey much more pleasant. The seats were also neat and comfortable. Although the wifi occasionally had problems, the connection was fine overall. The train arrived almost on time, which I really appreciated. A little more service staff would have been desirable. Nevertheless, I would book the trip again as everything was well organised.

The journey was generally pleasant and relaxed. I particularly liked the space in the car, I could sit comfortably and had enough peace and quiet to read. The views en route were really nice, especially in the more rural sections. The on-board staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the wifi wasn't particularly reliable, it often lost connection. The toilets could also have been a bit cleaner. Nevertheless, a solid connection that I would gladly use again if required.

I was travelling with my bike and was generally satisfied with the train journey. The connection was well chosen and it was easy to take my bike with me, which I really appreciated. The comfort in the carriage was pleasant, enough space and pleasantly quiet. Wifi was available and worked reliably most of the time. The price-performance ratio was also good because I booked early. The only criticism was that the train was about 20 minutes late, which is not a big deal as I would have spent that time in a traffic jam if I had been travelling by car, but not ideal. Nevertheless, a good journey.
Advantages

Disadvantages

A really nice train connection that I tried out once. The train arrived on time and I was able to board without any problems. There was no crowding and I was able to find a seat immediately. During the journey, the train was quiet and there was not as much vibration as usual. It was bright and very nicely air-conditioned in the train. Unfortunately, there was no electricity and no wifi, but there was a very decent toilet. I was able to reach my destination very quickly. I didn't actually expect to reach my destination so quickly, but I was pleasantly surprised. My recommendation for this train connection.
Advantages
IconVery nice and fast connection
Disadvantages
IconSomewhat unclean
The train arrived on time. There was no need to change trains as the train ran through. The booking of the ticket went smoothly. The facilities on the train were average, unfortunately there was no wifi and no electricity on the train. The toilet was okay, but unfortunately there was nothing to dry your hands. What I noticed negatively was that the floor was full of sand, which was unpleasant and therefore I only give four stars. Otherwise, I reached my destination quickly, the scenery along the way was very pleasant. My recommendation.
Advantages
IconVery pleasant and relaxed train connection
Disadvantages
IconNo negative experiences
I use this connection very often and wanted to rate it here. The train is on time 90% of the time. It is mostly clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, there is no wifi connection, but there is a power source. There was no crowding, so everyone gets their seat. The toilet is clean and tidy. The connection is quite fast, so you reach your destination quickly. My recommendation for this train connection.

I travelled from Bremen to Hamburg with the ME 82016 train and arrived very satisfied. The journey only took 1 hour and 10 minutes and I didn't have to change trains. I travelled to Hamburg for a business appointment and have to honestly say that this connection from Bremen to Hamburg is absolutely unreliable and poorly organised. The train was first shown as 10 minutes late and then after 10 minutes as 20 minutes late. The staff were totally unfriendly and didn't seem very competent, as no one could give us any further information about when the train would arrive, because the display at the station was also constantly changing. I really hope that I simply had a bad day, but unfortunately I have noticed that this happens frequently on this route, so it is absolutely not recommendable and in urgent need of improvement.

The journey was from Bremen to Hamburg, second class, by IC. I did not make a reservation. However, the train was not full and I got a seat. It was a very nice and well-maintained train. The journey went by very quickly, which I welcomed. There was an on-board bistro which served delicious coffee. The service on board could not be complained about. All in all, highly recommended.

I took the ICE from Hamburg Hauptbahnhof to Bremen Hauptbahnhof on Wednesday. The journey was quite short and the price-performance ratio was very good. The cleanliness and hygiene on the train was very good and the conductor was very friendly. Basically, I would always recommend this trip again, as it would have taken much longer to get from Hamburg to Bremen by car and would certainly not have been as pleasant.

I travelled second class from Bremen to Hamburg. The journey was very pleasant and passed extremely quickly. The train was in a clean and very well-maintained condition. I did not make a reservation and still got a seat as the train was not full. The train was also on time. The Deutsche Bahn staff were very friendly and courteous. I cannot say anything negative about this trip.

The connection from Bremen to Hamburg is pretty much the most unreliable connection in Germany. Absolutely not recommendable, but unfortunately nothing has changed in this situation for months.
Advantages

I have to say that overall I was very satisfied with the Metronome. The wifi worked well and I was able to do my work during the journey, which was very convenient. The seats were also very comfortable and I could relax well during the journey. The toilets were clean and well maintained, which I also appreciated. As for the snacks that were available for purchase, I must say that they looked delicious. However, I didn't get a chance to try them as the trip was quite short. But I think it would be a nice option for longer rides.
Advantages

Disadvantages

The train journey was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly and my compartment and the toilet were clean. Power sockets and wifi were available and I am very happy with the journey. Unfortunately, we arrived at our destination station in Hamburg 5 minutes late.

I always prefer travelling by train to taking the car, as it's simply much more relaxed. The train arrived on time, which is almost always the case, and I didn't have to change trains and go straight through. The staff are nice and there is a board bistro. I had a table at my seat and plenty of legroom. The train was also equipped with wifi and charging facilities. A clear recommendation!
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconToilet stank
The journey was very pleasant. I was travelling with a colleague and the train staff were nice to us. The train was well cleaned, unfortunately the toilet was very smelly. Power sockets were available. Wifi was also available, but didn't work so well. We arrived at our destination station in Hamburg 3 minutes ahead of schedule.

My journey with Deutsche Bahn from Bremen Hbf to Hamburg Hbf was extremely satisfactory. The journey was quick, the capacity utilisation was very low and everything around it was very pleasant, so I can hardly think of any negative aspects. Only the toilets were unfortunately not as clean as usual, which was certainly an exception. The service was otherwise very good and friendly. The internet was also very easy to use.
