Palma de Mallorca Airport is the airport which serves the Spanish island of Mallorca. It's located just over 8 kilometers east of the capital, Palma. Many of the leading hotels operate free shuttle buses to take guests from the airport to their booked accommodation. Public buses are also available to take passengers into Palma and to other destinations on the island. Official taxis can be accessed at a taxi rank outside the main terminal building. All of the leading car hire agencies have rental stations at the airport. The airport is one of the busiest in Europe during the high season in the summer.
