About
Air Nostrum, operating as Iberia Regional, is a Spanish regional airline based in Valencia, founded in 1994. It functions as a franchisee for Iberia Airlines, connecting numerous domestic destinations within Spain and international routes across Europe and North Africa. Air Nostrum plays a crucial role in feeding Iberia's long-haul network from its Madrid hub. The airline is an affiliate member of the Oneworld airline alliance and operates 91 domestic and international routes to 51 destinations, along with charter flights. Its fleet includes CRJ 200 and CRJ 1000 jets, as well as ATR 72-600 turboprops. In 2023, Air Nostrum merged with CityJet, forming the Strategic Alliance of Regional Airlines (SARA).
