What's the best way to get to Seville Airport from Seville city center?

Buses are the best way to reach Seville Airport from Seville city center. There is a Seville Airport Bus called Line EA that takes passengers from central stations Plaza de Armas or Santa Justas to the airport in 35 to 60 minutes. There are two airport stations. The first is is Aeropuerto de Sevilla Salidas, or departures, and the second is the end station, known locally as Aeropuerto de Sevilla Llegadas, which means arrivals. It is important to remember this, as passengers catching a flight will want to alight at the Salidas station. Passengers will be on the bus for 11 stops. This bus runs all year round, and departures begin at 4:30 a.m. and end at midnight. 

How far is it from Seville city center to Seville Airport?

The airport is just under 11 miles (17.7 kilometers) northeast of Seville city center. The bus departs the Santa Justa or Plaza de Armas stations, and travelers can depart from the station closest to them. Santa Justa is three quarters of a mile (1.2 kilometers) from central Seville, which takes 13 minutes to walk. Plaza de Armas is one and a quarter miles (two kilometers) away from the city center, which takes 25 minutes to reach on foot. All walks are on flat ground, and take travelers on routes past museums, parks and other tourist attractions. The bus journey takes slightly longer from Plaza de Armas, but travelers from either bus station should leave at least one and a half hours for this trip. During peak hour, when traffic congestion is a concern, it is recommended to leave around two, or two and a half hours to be safe.

There is a short, medium and long stay parking lot for those driving to their flight, and taxi drop-off right beside the airport. The airport bus is not specified as wheelchair-accessible or suitable for those unable to climb stairs, but once passengers arrive at the airport, they are well taken care of. It is vital to note that assistance should be requested at least 48 hours before the flight. Passengers can go to one of the airport's many meeting points, including in all the parking lots and the departure and arrival levels. There, passengers will receive assistance with check-in, moving around the airport with luggage, and boarding the plane.

Locals with a bit of time before the airport bus picks them up at Plaza de Armas sit with a snack or meal on the banks of the Guadalquivir river, and enjoy some peace and quiet before their flight. The river is a few minutes away by foot. Those waiting at Santa Justa are also a few steps away from nature, and can spend their waiting time at the green Parque Agumore. Locals prefer public transit, and if traveling at odd hours, they make sure to eat before they reach the airport.
