Most days of the week you will find only one bus leaving from Rome to Sorrento-Meta, the changeover point in your journey to Positano. This bus typically leaves mid-afternoon and arrives in Sorrento-Meta about 3h 30minlater. Arrival station: Sorrento-Meta will be your first stop on the journey to Positano. This station is located very near to the city center, about a five-minute walk. The buses travel seven days a week and should be considered very basic in nature (no air conditioning or assigned seating). In the summertime, expect the buses to be overcrowded.
