While it is somewhat unfortunate that there are no public transportation options to help you make this trip you could actually make the walk to the station in around 15min. Some of the features you will find at the station include things such as a luggage storage area, an information booth, public restrooms, as well as ticket machines and ticket offices. If you are looking for something to eat or drink there are quite a few options both inside and right outside of the station.
Arrival bus station: Florence Villa Costanza Station. This is a station set just to the southwest of the center of the city of Florence. Once you have finished your journey on Bari to Florence buses you can get to the center of the city on light rail train routes T1 and T3 each of which will take around 24min make the journey of around 4.8 miles (7.8 km).
