You can get to the station from the city center by either a bus or a tram and each takes about 20min to make the journey of around 4.8 miles (7.8 km) to the station. This is a modest station that is typical in a lot of Italian cities and it offers amenities such as restrooms, a restaurant and a small market, plus ample seating options to wait for your bus.
Arrival bus station: Bari Stazione Centrale on Via Guiseppe Capruzzi. This is a very common transportation hub in Italy since the station has both bus and train routes. In fact, there are about 400 buses and 300 trains that make stops at this station every day. The station is right in the heart of the center of the city so you will not need to travel far once you get off your bus. If you want to head to the popular waterfront after your trip you can travel the 0.8 miles (1.3 km) in around 10min by car but there are no public transportation options, unfortunately. Some of the amenities that travelers can find in the station include luggage storage, ticket offices, public restrooms, an information booth as well as dining and shopping choices.
The sole provider of buses from Florence to Bari is Marinobus which is a very well_known bus company in Italy offering routes to a number of cities throughout the country. They offer a bus in both the morning and the early evening hours that are direct routes meaning passengers will not need to transfer to another bus during the journey.
