Trenitalia connects Rome and Rimini with many direct daily trips or with change. There are about 20 trips in total, the first departing around 10:15 and the last around 20:20. The trains that operate the Rome-Rimini route depart from Roma Termini and Roma Tiburtina stations, both served by the metro line B (at night replaced by the 40N bus), by numerous ATAC and COTRAL suburban bus lines and by taxis. Termini is located in the city center, near Via Nazionale, while Tiburtina further west, at the cemetery of Verano.
Rimini's railway station is located a short distance from the seafront and the city centre, both reachable by numerous buses (lines 11, 90, 124, 160, 170 and those from 1 to 4, from 7 to 9, from 14 to 20) that stop or have their terminus in the square in front of the station; in summer the special Blue Line night line runs allow you to move from the station to the main resorts of the Riviera Romagnola.
