Since I work in Strasbourg, I occasionally travel from Offenburg via Karlsruhe to Stuttgart. The journey by train is very pleasant. So far, I have not been affected by any major delays. The connection from Offenburg to Karlsruhe usually takes about 30 minutes. Getting on and off the train in Offenburg as well as Karlsruhe is easy, so I always got the connecting train in Karlsruhe. I didn't use the wifi, as the connection is at your own risk. The seats in the ICE are comfortable and suitable for all types of people for the shortness of the route. The toilets have always been clean so far.
