My train journey from Frankfurt Airport to Munich, on the ICE 519 was extremely comfortable and pleasant. The train was equipped with modern facilities and the staff was friendly and polite. I took the ICE 519 from Frankfurt Airport to Munich. The journey took just over 3 hours. The service and facilities on board were good. There were power sockets and wifi. The bistro was open. The train had no delays over the entire journey. It was very clean on board, which also applied to the toilets. Unfortunately, it was a bit crowded that day and it was difficult to fit my suitcase in.

Disadvantages
IconHigh delay
Unfortunately, we had a very long delay on the route from Frankfurt Airport, which spoiled the overall train journey. There were regular announcements, but I still had an appointment in the evening, which was a bit silly. But the train was very clean and I had a comfortable seat. I would describe the price-performance ratio as OK overall, even if the delay was a bit silly.

The train's equipment left nothing to be desired. The seats were extremely comfortable and offered enough space for a relaxed journey. The wifi worked perfectly, so I could stay connected to the outside world without any problems. In addition, there were enough sockets to charge my electronic devices. The comfort during the journey was really top for an ICE. The air conditioning kept the train at a comfortable temperature and the toilets were always clean and well maintained. The train staff were extremely friendly and attentive. They were always available to the passengers and took care of any concerns. The cleanliness on the train was impressive. Both the seats and the interior were cleaned regularly and were always welcoming. Hygiene standards were maintained in an exemplary manner. The value for money of the train journey was reasonable. Ticket prices were fair, especially appropriate for the experience. Only the food could offer a bit more choice and quality.
