The train ride was really one of the best I have ever experienced. The wifi was very good and I had 2 power sockets available. The staff was over friendly and I had a reservation option. The staff provided me with information all the time. As I said before, the toilets were very clean and I didn't feel disgusted. I didn't have to change trains and the train arrived on time. I would recommend the ticket if it wasn't so expensive. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio was not right.
Pros
Icongood wifi
IconCleanliness
When I walked in, it smelled very fresh, people were quietly getting in and out. I sat down and ordered something for myself. My order came quickly. The internet was very strong and I fell asleep a little without interruption. Then I went to the toilet as I needed a toilet and there was no lack of hygiene and soap. This ride gets 5 stars.

IconPoor wifi
I travelled from Munich to Berlin for a family visit. Unfortunately, the train was already late. Thus, one also arrived with a delay. Fortunately, it wasn't drastic now. So I could still enjoy the day in Berlin. The equipment was, as usual, okay. The power socket under the seats worked. However, this time it charged my smartphone very slowly. The wifi worked. Unfortunately, however, it was also very slow. So I had to use mobile data to access the internet. But that's not too bad, as I have a decent tariff. On such a long journey, you also have to go to the toilet. This was fine. I generally don't like going to train toilets. However, this one was clean. The conductor was unobtrusive and quickly scanned and validated my ticket.

Iconnice train
Right from the start, I can only say that I can pass on the ride, as I didn't notice anything negative. There was a lot of good stuff and also definitely the air conditioning, which made sure it didn't get hot. The staff were very friendly and did a very good job. There was also attention to hygiene and it was quiet on the train. I am very happy to recommend the trip as the train was also very nice.
Pros
Iconon-time arrival
Cons
Icondirty toilets
The journey from Munich to Berlin was incredibly fast for the actual distance of this route. The price was definitely justified for this speed and the direct journey. And on top of that, I had a City Ticket for both Munich and Berlin. Unfortunately, the toilets were very dirty, but the staff also took care of them in the course of the journey, so that in the end you could use them again. The service staff were also very friendly and offered help when you needed it and the train driver was also very friendly over the loudspeaker announcements. It was also a bit crowded on the train, which might have been due to the holiday season, which is why the wifi doesn't work as well as it usually does, but it could have been worse. The seats were comfortable though and the sockets all work fine in my row of seats too. We arrived on time, even though we had a few delays in between, but we were able to make up for them.

We took the ICE from Munich to Berlin in October 2022. The train arrived in Munich on time and arrived in Berlin at the specified time. We had reserved seats, but the train was still very busy, so there were a lot of people standing in the aisle, which was a bit annoying. However, the seats were very comfortable and were equipped with power sockets. The internet was very good and offered a stable connection. The toilet was clean and you could use it without any problems. All in all, we felt comfortable during the trip and the journey passed relatively quickly.
Pros
Iconkind staff
Iconconvenient
It was a great ride. The wifi was good. The seats were very comfortable and it was very quiet on the train. The staff was very nice and you had a lot of choice of food. The whole train was very clean and especially the toilets were very clean. My train arrived on time. For all the positive reasons, I pass on the trip.
Pros
Iconclean train
Iconpleasant journey
I travelled alone in 2nd class and my ticket cost around €40.00 and was worth it. When I boarded, I immediately noticed that the train was very clean. The staff was very friendly and nice. My train was on time and I arrived in Berlin at the right time. I also really liked the wifi. My orange juice was very fresh and also tasted very good. I am happy to pass on the trip as everything went according to plan.
Pros
IconPleasant temperature in the train
IconPunctuality of the train
IconNot overfull
Cons
IconNothing to note
I found my journey generally very pleasant, as the train was not particularly crowded. The train staff were very friendly and made my journey a pleasant one. Both the departure and the arrival were extremely punctual, which of course made me very happy. The on-board bistro on the train had all the food and drinks in stock and I personally found the price-performance ratio to be right. Coffee was offered during the journey, and although I am very tall, I had enough space in my seat and could also work on my laptop. In addition, the train's wifi was always stable and I had no problems. All in all, a very pleasant journey - thumbs up!
Pros
IconThe heaters were on
Icongood food
Cons
IconThe train was late.
There was one thing I didn't like, and that was that the train was late. But I liked many other things, including the fact that the heaters were on because it was very cold outside and, what I also particularly liked, was the food. I felt comfortable using the toilets because they were clean. The train was also very clean and special attention was also paid to hygiene. The staff were very pleasant and also did a good job. Despite the delay, I recommend the trip and would prefer to rate it 4.5 stars. Also, my ticket was very cheap for what I got.
Pros
IconPersonnel
IconComfortable
Cons
IconWIFI
IconSockets
The staff on the ICE train were very friendly on the journey to Berlin. The children were very happy about the little treat. We travelled very comfortably and conveniently. The seats are very comfortable for longer journeys. The legroom is sufficient even for tall people. However, we are always annoyed by the hygiene on the train. There is always dirt on the tables at the seats or the toilets are left unclean. Unfortunately, the wifi also constantly cuts out. There could be more power sockets available.
Pros
IconFast journey time
IconVery clean
IconNice staff
Cons
IconUncomfortable seats
IconLack of highlight in the equipment
My train journey from Munich to Berlin was very pleasant. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The journey time was impressive. I arrived in Berlin earlier than expected. This made my planning much easier. The cleanliness on the train was exemplary and the sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly. This made me very happy, as I have had worse experiences in this area. Unfortunately, the seats did not quite meet my expectations in terms of comfort. The seat pitch was tight and the upholstery was not that comfortable even for the short journey. The train's facilities also left a lot to be desired, as there was a lack of power sockets and other amenities that should be standard these days. Despite these minor inconveniences, I was able to enjoy the journey, mainly due to the general cleanliness of the train. For a stress-free, time-efficient and environmentally friendly journey between Munich and Berlin, this train is definitely a good option. I will travel again.
