The train journey from Mönchengladbach to Berlin went smoothly and was even relatively punctual, except for a few minutes. There was wifi and power sockets and catering on board. The latter, of course, at extra cost. The toilets were clean and there is a train from Mönchengladbach that runs through to Berlin. Which I find very pleasant!
