I travelled by ICE from Frankfurt Main Hauptbahnhof to Gießen Hauptbahnhof at the weekend. The journey was very pleasant, both departure and arrival were on time and the comfort in the ICE was very pleasant. Cleanliness on board was a given and although we had not reserved a seat, there were still more than enough free seats. For this short journey, the price-performance ratio was absolutely top, as one would not have been faster by car.

I travelled by ICE from Frankfurt Main Hauptbahnhof to Gießen Hauptbahnhof last weekend. The journey was very pleasant, only took about 35 minutes and was on time both on departure and arrival. For just under €18, I also find the price very reasonable, as it's not faster by car and certainly not much cheaper. I would absolutely recommend the journey by ICE from Frankfurt Main Hauptbahnhof to Gießen Hauptbahnhof.
