I travelled by Deutsche Bahn, from Erlangen. The train was very clean. It is a normal RE train. I had a comfortable single seat, which was clean. Unfortunately, I didn't see any staff, so I can't rate the service on the train. Otherwise, the train was on time, except for my connecting train. But for this price, you really can't complain about travelling through Germany.
