Thello: Tickets, Routes & Destinations

Les billets Thello peuvent être achetés :

• On the website or the Omio application
• In the points of sale in France : Thello shops in Gare de Lyon in Paris, Nice Thiers station, or at the self-service kiosks in Marseille Saint Charles, Toulon, Cannes, Nice Ville, Monaco, and Paris Gare de Lyon stations.
• At Trenitalia sales points in Italy at railway station counters, travel agencies and Trenitalia self-service kiosks.

• Carnet 5 voyages : For your journeys on board Marseille-Milan day trains, opt for the prepaid carnet to travel at an advantageous price. Book your trips free of charge within 90 days of purchase thanks to the references indicated on the booklet. The reservation is exchangeable free of charge once before departure, and the booklet is 80% refundable before first use.
• TER + Thello subscription: Regular passengers can subscribe to the TER + Thello subscription to travel on TER trains and the 6 Thello trains between Nice, Monaco and/or Ventimiglia.
• > Special Eurail and Interrail : Holders of a Eurail and Interrail pass can benefit from the special fare offering special prices. You can consult the different fare prices depending on the journey in question atcette adresse
• Voyager en famille avec Thello Travelling with the family with Thello : Children under 4 years of age travel free of charge on Thello train without a seat allocated, and within the limit of one child per adult. Children from 4 to 14 years of age receive a 30% discount when booking an adult ticket at the Flexi fare.
• > Group travel with Thello>: Benefit from discounted tickets with the Mini Group fare for any group travel of 2 to 5 people, with at least one adult. This offer is valid for daytime trains on the Marseille - Nice - Genoa - Milan route.
• > Travelling with children :
• > Children under 4 years oldtravel free of charge on Thello train, without allocated seats, and within the limit of one child per adult. The child shares the same seat or berth with the accompanying adult.
• Children from 4 to 14 years oldFrom the age of 4, a seat reservation is compulsory, allowing the same advantages as an adult passenger, such as baggage allowance, transportable accessories. Children from 4 to 14 years old benefit from a 30% discount on the adult fare at the Smart and Flexi fare.

You can take 2 suitcases not exceeding a total dimension of 160 cm (height + length + width), and a hand luggage. Depending on the space available on board, you can take up to 2 additional pieces of luggage with you for an extra charge of 40 € per piece.

On trains, you can't carry equipment such as surfboards, windsurfing boards, and skis.

On board the Marseille-Milan day trains, you'll find :

On board the night trains from Paris to Venice, you'll find :

Onboard day trains on the Marseille-Milan route, bicycles must be dismantled and placed in transport covers measuring a maximum of 80 x 110 x 40 cm.

On board night trains on the Paris-Venice route, bicycles and scooters must be dismantled and placed in transport covers measuring less than 160 cm in total (height + length + width).

Just enter the code indicated at the time of purchase. If you have a generic code, you can enter the same code for the outward and return journey. You can only use one discount voucher per passenger, per train and per added service. Make sure you respect the expiry date of the voucher, and possible restrictions regarding routes, dates and amount.

Warning, tickets purchased with a coupon are not redeemable. In case of a refund request, the amount of the voucher will not be refunded. Voucher cannot be combined with any other discount.

Please arrive at the station reception desk at least 30 minutes before departure. The service includes the carrying of a 15 kg.

You can also opt for the special "Disabled companion" fare, which allows you to book a discounted ticket for an accompanying person. For Paris-Venice night train journeys, the ticket is not changeable, but refundable up to 24 hours before departure with a 10% deduction. For Marseille-Milan daytime train journeys, the ticket can be modified once free of charge, and refunded with a deduction of 10 €.

Assistance dogs are allowed on board and can travel free of charge without reservation. A certificate of disability will be requested.
