There are two bus services in operation between the city and the airport, operated by First Group and Bluestar respectively.

Southampton Central is the main train station services the area and can be found on the Wessex Main Line. In addition to London Waterloo and London Victoria, the station services other major destinations such as Cardiff, Bristol and Bournemouth. As the station is a little way out of the city center, a regular free shuttle service is in operation.
