The train arrived at the scheduled time and the carriage was hygienic and at a pleasant temperature. The seats offered enough space and even longer distances could be travelled comfortably. I particularly liked the quiet atmosphere, which was ideal for simply switching off. One small drawback was that the wifi wiped out completely at times, which can be a little frustrating on a longer journey.

The journey was a return trip home. It was the best option as it was cheap and fast. The train was on time, but one station was cancelled, so I had to get off somewhere else. However, the ticket price was refunded to me. It was around 25 euros one lunchtime. There was internet on the outward journey but not on the return journey.

I was in Berlin with friends and booked the train back. The transfer wasn't the best option, but it was the cheapest. The ICE would have been more expensive. So the best thing was the price. The worst thing was the compromises you had to make. The journey was in the morning and not really comfortable, just practical. The train was clean except for a few rubbish bags and so were the toilets. I used the Wi-Fi and was happy with it. As were the power sockets. I was lucky that the train was on time and the staff were nice, although you have very little to do with them. I don't know if there is an on-board restaurant, but if there is, I didn't use it. For 33 euros the ticket was very good value for money.

I travelled back to Essen with my girlfriend after our trip to Berlin. We opted for this connection because it was by far the cheapest. You can't argue with €69.92 for 2 people. That was also the main reason why we decided in favour of Flixtrain. But that, together with the fairly stable wifi, was the only positive thing about the journey. The train driver allowed people to take a smoke break during longer stops, which only led to delays. In addition, some passengers pulled the train's emergency brake for fun, which led to further delays and understandably annoyed staff. It's not Flixtrain's fault, but it was still pretty annoying. There was no on-board restaurant and no service on the train either.

My train journey on the FlixTrain (train number FLX30) from Berlin to Essen was a real highlight for me and, in my opinion, deserves full marks. As soon as I boarded the train in Berlin, I was greeted warmly by friendly and helpful staff - this immediately made me feel at ease and really welcome. The seats were not only comfortable, but also offered enough space for me to relax and enjoy the entire journey. I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness of the entire train. The well-kept ambience created a pleasant atmosphere and felt really good after a busy day. During the journey, the train crew were always attentive and available to answer questions at any time. Whether it was for a little help or just a nice chat - I felt well looked after all round. The journey also ran absolutely smoothly, without any delays or stress. This is particularly valuable for me on such a long journey as Berlin-Essen. The price-performance ratio on this connection is really convincing. If you want to travel comfortably and cheaply, FlixTrain is the best choice on this route. I'm already looking forward to my next journey and can highly recommend this connection to anyone - especially if you value a relaxed and friendly service!

The train journey was smooth and pleasant. I boarded without stress and quickly found a seat. The compartment was clean, the windows were clear and it smelled fresh. The scenery outside was nice and I could listen to music without being disturbed. The journey was quick and uneventful. It was almost silent and I felt comfortable. The staff were also helpful and friendly when it came to questions. Everything went according to schedule and without stress. Unfortunately, I didn't have an outlet.

My journey on the FlixTrain from Berlin to Essen was very pleasant overall. The staff were friendly and attentive, which immediately created a relaxed atmosphere. The seats were surprisingly comfortable, even on longer journeys. I found the power sockets at every seat particularly practical. The temperature in the train was pleasantly regulated, neither too cold nor too warm. Everything was also in the green zone in terms of cleanliness and general noise levels - pleasantly quiet and well-maintained. The only downside was the ticket price, which in my case was higher than expected. Otherwise, the journey was excellent and highly recommended!

I found my journey on the FlixTrain from Berlin to Essen a positive experience overall. The reason for the journey was a city trip to Berlin. We chose the FlixTrain because the price was very favourable and the time was perfect. The worst thing about the journey was that we were delayed and the air conditioning didn't work perfectly. The time of the journey was from afternoon to evening and therefore the train was very crowded. Unfortunately, the toilets were not clean, but very dirty and soiled. The wifi didn't work either, but there was a charging station for mobile phones. The staff were friendly and helpful. We did not use the on-board bistro.

Here I would like to share my positive experiences on the journey from Berlin to Essen. I travelled by ICE 1st class. Thank God I had booked my seat in advance, the train was very full. The cool air conditioning in the train was pleasant. The toilets were really very clean and the service was done right after the start. At every seat there was the possibility to put the laptop on a folding table and directly at the seat there were sockets so that you could charge the device directly. My train was also on time and the connecting trains were reached, I will travel 1st class by ICE again. The price was also reasonable.

I travelled in second class and this was my return journey. I rate this journey with five stars as I have nothing to criticise. The train looked very nice from the inside and also from the outside. The food was very tasty, there were also vegan and vegetarian dishes. The internet was very good, although many people used it, so I was able to complete my work on the computer. My seat was very comfortable and I had a lot of space at my seat. My train was also on time. It was a wonderful journey.

The seats offered sufficient legroom and comfort, which made the journey a little more pleasant. Unfortunately, as is so often the case with rail travel, the train did not arrive on time, which can cause some inconvenience, especially if you have deadlines to meet. One annoying incident during my journey was that no food could be prepared as the electricity in the kitchen had failed. This meant that there were no hot or cold drinks, which made the journey less enjoyable. Despite these obstacles, the service and friendliness of the railway staff was fine. They were available to answer questions and were helpful. The price-performance ratio of the train journey from Berlin to Essen was acceptable overall.
