I was travelling from Munich to Hamburg and Würzburg was also on the route. The train left Würzburg on time at 06:28 and arrived in Hamburg at 09:53. The train and the toilets were clean. I did not use the service. I was able to charge my mobile phone and the internet was okay. The price was very fair and the journey was excellent.

Good connection with only a short delay. The train was clean, the window seats offered nice views. Wifi was stable this time, which is rare. The announcements were clear and the staff were helpful. The only point of criticism is boarding the train with a lot of luggage, which was difficult as the doors remained open for a short time. Nevertheless, an almost smooth journey with a few minor compromises.

I travelled from Würzburg to Hamburg to visit friends. The connection was ideal - fast, direct and comfortable. The ICE was on time, clean and offered a comfortable window seat. The wifi and power sockets worked reliably, which made the journey very pleasant. The service was friendly, and for the price of €79.98 (return journey) I thought the price-performance ratio was excellent. My only criticism was that there could have been a little more choice in the on-board restaurant.

The journey was mixed. Everything was actually well organised. Seats reserved, modern train, pleasant atmosphere. But unfortunately the train was over 25 minutes late. And what bothered me even more was that there was hardly any information from the staff. No information, no explanation, just waiting. Otherwise, the train itself was in good condition, the route was scenic and the seat was comfortable. However, punctuality problems are increasingly annoying me.

All in all, an uncomplicated and positive journey, just as you would wish for.

The return journey in second class on the ICE from Würzburg to Hamburg, without a reservation, with a change of trains in Hanover was a very positive surprise. As soon as I boarded in Würzburg, the atmosphere was pleasant and the train was clean and tidy, which immediately gave me a good feeling. It didn't take a minute for me to find a free seat. During the journey, the seats were comfortable enough for the longer journey and despite the large number of travellers, the atmosphere was relaxed. My train ticket from Würzburg to Hamburg was really great! The service on the train was really friendly and the cleanliness really impressed me. The journey time flew by and the train arrived exactly on time. But, and this is the "but", the price was admittedly not exactly cheap. Still, if friendly service, cleanliness, punctuality and a pleasant journey time are important to you and you are willing to pay a bit more, then this train ticket is definitely the right choice. I would book it again despite the price because the positives outweighed the negatives.

My train journey from Würzburg to Hamburg was a real experience that I would like to share. The best part was undoubtedly the comfort and environmental friendliness. The comfort of the train was really impressive. The seats were comfortable, there was plenty of legroom and the ability to move around freely contributed greatly to a relaxed travel experience. Nowadays, environmental friendliness is an important aspect. Travelling by train allowed me to travel in an environmentally conscious way and reduce my CO₂ footprint. That is something I can be proud of. One small drawback was the time involved and the limited connections. The journey took longer than some other modes of transport and the availability of connections was limited. This required careful planning in advance. Overall, my train journey from Würzburg to Hamburg was a very pleasant experience. The convenience and environmental friendliness of this means of travel far outweighed the time and limited connection options. If you prefer a comfortable and environmentally conscious journey and can plan your travel time in advance, this train connection is definitely worth considering.

My train journey from Würzburg to Hamburg was really great. The train was modern and I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable seats and plenty of legroom. The comfort on board was great, there were even power sockets and wifi, which made the journey very pleasant. The staff were friendly and courteous, which really surprised me. The cleanliness of the train was really exemplary. Both the seats and the toilets were well maintained. That was really pleasant. Unfortunately, the ticket was a bit expensive, which was the only negative aspect. The price seemed a bit high compared to other options. Nevertheless, the positives outweigh the negatives: the modern facilities, the high level of comfort, the friendly service and the cleanliness make the train journey a recommended choice. However, as the ticket was so expensive, it is with a heavy heart that I only give it 4 stars.

Thanks to the good signposting, I quickly found my platform and boarded my train, which was already there. The train departed on time and quickly reached its speed. My seat was very comfortable and spacious, it had room for luggage and a USB port to charge my smartphone. A small bistro on the train offered packed snacks and fresh coffee. The toilets on the train were a little unhygienic, but well equipped. My destination was reached quickly and on time, and I am happy to recommend this train connection to others.

However, cash is still widely accepted and sometimes preferred in smaller shops, markets, and rural areas. Carrying some cash is recommended for flexibility.
In Hamburg, travelers should be cautious of pickpocketing, especially in crowded areas like Reeperbahn, St. Pauli, and public transport. Common scams include distraction tactics near popular tourist spots and overcharging by unlicensed taxi drivers. It's advisable to use official transportation services and stay alert in busy nightlife districts to ensure safety.
Pack lightweight, versatile clothing suitable for the destination's climate, and use secure, lockable luggage to protect belongings. Keep essential items like travel documents, medication, and valuables in a carry-on bag for easy access. Use packing organizers or cubes to maximize space and maintain order. Lastly, include a small first aid kit and personal hygiene items for added comfort during travel.
