The train journey from Munich to Augsburg was a pleasant and comfortable travel experience. The train was on time and well maintained. The seats were comfortable and offered sufficient legroom. The windows were clean and provided a good view of the passing scenery. The wifi worked well, so I was able to get online without any problems. The train attendants were polite and helpful.

I booked my tickets online and reserved my seat as well. Thanks to the well-designed app, everything worked very well. The train arrived on time and I was able to board without any problems. The train was quiet and pleasantly clean, the staff were friendly and present. The toilet made a clean impression, there was everything for food. Unfortunately, there was no wifi on the train, but there was a USB port to charge your smartphone. I was satisfied with this train connection.
Advantages
IconFaster than by car
IconPositively surprised
Disadvantages
IconNo socket
I booked an online ticket from Munich to Augsburg with the ICE 516. I particularly liked this train connection because the train was really punctual and very tidy. Everything went smoothly. My seat was by the window and was very spacious, the seat met modern guidelines and was very clean. A DB employee approached me to ask if everything was OK, which I found very nice. Unfortunately, there was no wifi on the train and no power socket either, which I found a shame. The toilet was very clean and there were no dirty marks on the walls or floor. It was nice and quiet on the train, so you could enjoy your journey. The price-performance ratio was average and I definitely reached my destination faster than with my car.
Advantages
IconVersatile positive
IconA fast train connection
The reservation through the online ticket app was quite easy. I advise everyone to download this app, otherwise you won't get anywhere, the train arrived a little late, but not too late. The train looked clean and averagely maintained, the seats were soft and comfortable, they also had an adjustable armrest and a pocket to put your stuff in. The toilet was according to the guidelines and had enough toilet paper as well as towels and a window. Unfortunately, the staff was not present, but that didn't bother me. Unfortunately, there was no wifi, but there was a power source on the train, which I recommend.

I travelled from Munich to Augsburg on the ICE 516. The journey is in second class. It was a very pleasant and entertaining journey, lasting just under 30 minutes. There was a bistro on board where you could get delicious coffee. There was also free wifi.

I travelled with the ICE 516 from Munich to Augsburg. The journey is in second class and without seat reservation. The journey time was very short, just under 30 minutes. The train was in a neat and tidy condition. It was clean and hygienic. The train was not delayed for the entire duration of the journey. The service could not be faulted either. There was free wifi and the staff was very friendly. Overall, I can only recommend this connection.
Advantages
IconFantastic train connection
Disadvantages
IconI have nothing to complain about
After changing trains, I continued my journey from Munich to Augsburg on ICE 516. The train was over-punctual, so it was possible to board in peace, and before the train even started, I was sitting in my comfortable and clean seat. The staff asked me if everything was OK and if I had any problems finding the track, to which they were very friendly. Unfortunately, I couldn't charge my phone as there was no power source, but there was a stable internet connection thanks to wifi on board. The train made a very clean and tidy impression, nothing was sticky or smeared, as is usually the case. The journey took less than half an hour and I reached my destination on time. I really liked this service and will use it more often in the future. My recommendation.

On my journey to Buchloe, I used this connection to Augsburg. The train was on time and I had a great seat thanks to my seat reservation. The train was quite new. Normally I work on the train via laptop. This was not possible on this connection as it was very noisy on the train. Otherwise it was very clean and well maintained and the staff was very polite. The price for the ticket was also great.

The journey from Munich to Augsburg was on the ICE 516, in second class. The journey was very short, just under half an hour. It was a clean and hygienic train. The toilet was in working order. I was generally very satisfied with my train journey from Munich to Augsburg. We left and arrived on time and I felt very comfortable on the train. We had a very modern train - the only drawback was that the wifi was partly down. The legroom was absolutely sufficient and the seats are very comfortable. In addition, the price-performance ratio in the on-board bistro is very good and you have a nice selection of food and drinks. The train staff was very quick and always absolutely friendly.
Advantages

Disadvantages

I took the ICE train from Munich to Augsburg. The journey was very quick and uncomplicated. The train arrived on time. I travelled second class. Around midday, the train was not particularly busy. There were enough seats available. The Deutsche Bahn staff were friendly and courteous. I did not use the on-board bistro on this journey and therefore cannot comment on it. However, due to the general condition of the train, I assume that the on-board bistro was also in a reasonable condition.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconNothing to note
I was absolutely satisfied with my train journey from Munich to Augsburg. Exceptionally helpful staff helped me get my bags onto the train. The train was relatively empty and I found the train journey in general very pleasant. The train was exceptionally clean and it is also one of the newer German Railways trains. The relatively short journey flew by and I reached my destination on time. All in all, a very good journey - I felt very comfortable.

I rate the trip as very good. The network was excellent and had no dropouts. I must also praise the fact that the toilets and seats were very clean and hygienic. The ticket is also definitely recommendable in terms of price. I must also mention that the staff were very helpful and friendly when I had any questions. I give the journey 5 stars.

The facilities were not so good, unfortunately there was poor wifi and no power sockets. However, it was very comfortable, the seats were cosy and it was quiet, but there was no catering. The service was good, the controller was friendly and the booking facility was good as I was able to buy my ticket just before boarding. The journey time was as expected and there were no delays. The price-performance ratio could be better, as the tickets could be cheaper.
