It started with a slight delay at Hamburg's main station, but the journey was still very comfortable. connection was very comfortable and convenient. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was enough storage space for luggage and the seats were comfortable with plenty of legroom. The view of the North Sea was impressive, especially during the crossing to Sylt.

The train from Hamburg Hbf to Westerland was very punctual, so you had plenty of time to board. I also didn't have to change trains during my journey. It was very clean and quiet on the train, although the train was normally full. The staff were present and checked the tickets. However, as the displays and automatic announcements did not work, the staff had to make manual announcements. Otherwise, the seats were very comfortable and the toilets were clean. There was also a snack machine on the train. All in all, a perfect journey!
