The train journey with the ICE 77 from Hamburg to Freiburg was an overall positive experience. The train was on time and the journey went smoothly. The seats were comfortable and offered enough space to make the long journey pleasant. The wifi worked reliably for the most part, which allowed me to work productively during the journey. The on-board restaurant impressed with a varied selection of food and drinks. The quality of the meals was good and the prices reasonable. The only minor drawback was that some of the toilets on the train were not properly cleaned.

I travelled by ICE 77 second class from Hamburg to Freiburg. It was a very nice journey because I saw a lot of Germany. Fortunately for me, the train was very clean, almost sterile. During the almost six-hour journey, I made use of the offer of the on-board bistro and treated myself to a soup. It was very tasty. In between, the train was a bit crowded, but I had my seat, so this was basically not a problem. The conductor asked to see my ticket several times, but that was OK.
