A short time ago, I took the ICE from Hamburg main station to Kiel. The ICE was very clean and the toilets were also hygienic and thoroughly cleaned. Great! The service in the ICE was also great, as the staff were very friendly and helpful. The comfortable seats and quiet atmosphere also contributed to a relaxing journey. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn't work properly and it was a bit too warm in the ICE.

A train journey from Hamburg to Kiel went very well. There were no problems with the wifi on the train, and the other equipment on the train was also well maintained and comfortable. In addition, it was not too noisy in the ICE and the service staff were very helpful. The only negative point of this trip was the hygiene, which could have been a little better, especially in the on-board toilets.

I travelled from Hamburg to Kiel some time ago. The journey by regional train of about one hour was very cheap. The train staff were very friendly! Unfortunately, the facilities in the regional train were very poor... there were no power sockets and no wifi

IconNice staff
IconSufficient capacity
Disadvantages
IconDelay
The train journey was very pleasant despite being 30 minutes late. The staff were in a good mood and very friendly. There were also enough free seats, even without a reservation. The train, including the toilets, was generally very clean. You can travel from Hamburg to Kiel with the ICE as well as with DB REGIO without changing trains. The journey took about 60 minutes, which is a very good value. The wifi worked perfectly. Unfortunately, some of the sockets had a loose connection. Disappointingly, this often happens on the ICE trains used on this line. The restaurant was open and had sufficient catering. The noise level was perfectly acceptable and made for a relaxed journey. The price for this journey was also very acceptable. It was definitely worth the money.

The journey from Hamburg Central Station to Kiel was a direct journey on the regional express train. The train was not full and there were plenty of seats for everyone. The journey started on time and I reached my destination without delay. The train was clinically clean, which I found particularly pleasant. The seats were also very comfortable and cosy. All in all, a successful travelling experience
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconPoor hygiene
I travelled from Hamburg Central Station to Kiel on the regional express. The positive thing was that the train left Hamburg on time and reached its destination without any delays. I also liked the fact that there were two floors so that everyone had a seat. I did find the hygiene on the train a little wanting. The windows were dirty and the floor was sticky. I can't say anything about the toilets.
Advantages
IconPlenty of space
IconFriendly staff
Disadvantages
IconDirty toilets
I travelled from Hamburg to Kiel on the Regionalexpress and was quite happy with the journey. The train has two floors, so there was plenty of space for passengers and luggage. The staff asked for tickets and were very friendly. One criticism was the somewhat neglected hygiene on the train. In particular, the toilets were not particularly clean. Improvements could be made here.
