The nice thing about taking the train is that you don't need a car. So there is no fuel consumption. The problem was that the train was overcrowded. The train was also late. And the wifi didn't work. In general, train travel is a great alternative if they are on time.
Advantages
IconNo change
Disadvantages
IconLong ride
The IC 60402 was a night train consisting of night cars and normal IC and EC cars. I was in a normal IC carriage. The train was on time, we had a longer stay in Frankfurt am Main and arrived in Cologne on time. There were power sockets, the wifi worked, the seats were comfortable and the train was clean. The train took a long time to cover the distance, but it was cheap.

The train journey itself was pleasant thanks to the friendly staff, and the train was also wheelchair-friendly, which is very important for me. Unfortunately, it was a bit too crowded on this train and there were considerable delays, which is why I missed an appointment.
