My journey on the FlixTrain from Berlin to Mainz was pleasant overall. The train was clean and the seats were surprisingly comfortable, so I was able to relax and enjoy the journey. I found the well-functioning wifi connection and the power sockets at every seat particularly practical. This meant I could work and charge my mobile phone at the same time. The atmosphere on the train was quiet and pleasant. One small negative point was the staff - unfortunately a little unfriendly and unhelpful. Nevertheless, the positive impressions outweighed the negative ones for me and I would definitely choose the connection again.

The journey on the FlixTrain from Berlin to Mainz was solid and pleasant overall. I particularly enjoyed the views en route - large windows and varied landscapes made the long journey more entertaining. The seats were surprisingly comfortable, even for several hours. The train staff were polite and unobtrusive, which contributed to the relaxed atmosphere. The silence in the carriage was also pleasant - no loud conversations or disturbing noises. The train departed on time and arrived without delay, which I see as a big plus. And last but not least, the ticket price was unbeatably cheap - a real bargain for this route. All in all, an excellent journey!

My FlixTrain journey from Berlin to Mainz about two years ago was very pleasant overall - I was on my way to visit my family and had my pet with me. Boarding went smoothly and there was enough space, even with a transport box. The quiet atmosphere on the train was particularly positive, which was obviously good for my pet. The cleanliness in the compartment was fine, and I thought it was great that there were power sockets at every seat. The staff were also very friendly and understanding of my situation with my pet. The temperatures were pleasant, neither too hot nor too cold, which is important on a longer journey. The only downside was the sometimes poor mobile phone reception on the road - the connection kept dropping out, especially in more rural areas.

Overall, I enjoyed my journey with the FlixTrain from Berlin to Mainz in the afternoon. I particularly liked the favourable ticket prices, as I was able to save money. The seat was also really comfortable, which made the long journey more pleasant. I also liked the free wifi because I could listen to music and text with friends during the journey. I also liked the punctuality of the train, as we arrived exactly on time. One disadvantage, however, was the hygiene, as the toilets were not very clean. Nevertheless, I would take the FlixTrain again because it is a relaxed and inexpensive way to get to Mainz.

IconNo on-board bistro and no staff on the second train
From Berlin to Mainz I had to change trains once in Frankfurt am Main. The changeover went smoothly as both trains were on time. As I was travelling at night, both trains were not very busy. In addition, the seats on both trains were comfortable and there were power sockets and internet available. The on-board bistro was open on the first train. Unfortunately not on the second train from Frankfurt. There was also no staff there and therefore no ticket control. Furthermore, the cleanliness on both trains was fine. The ticket was also reasonably priced for this route. As I arrived at my destination safely and on time, I can recommend the journey.
