I was able to travel from Berlin to Graz on the RJ without changing trains. The journey took about 12 hours and the ticket price was okay. The train was very clean and the toilets were hygienic. The seating comfort was perfect and there were power sockets and internet on the train. The on-board bistro was open for the entire journey and the food was reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and you could use the comfort check-in. Unfortunately, the train was delayed by 15 minutes until Graz. However, I didn't find this too bad as the journey was very long. The occupancy rate was also not high and there was a pleasant atmosphere in the compartment. I can definitely recommend the journey.

Sylt Shuttle Plus

About
Sylt Shuttle Plus was a unique passenger train service operated by Deutsche Bahn (DB) that connected Niebüll and Westerland on the island of Sylt, Germany. Unlike the primary Sylt Shuttle, which transports vehicles, the "Plus" service was designed for passengers without cars. It involved coupling a Class 628 diesel multiple unit to the rear of the car shuttle train. Introduced in 2015, the Sylt Shuttle Plus gained notoriety for its often-empty carriages and longer travel times compared to regional trains, leading to its nickname "ghost train." The service was discontinued in December 2024.
