So far the best facilities I have ever seen, very good wifi and lots of sockets to charge your phone. The most comfortable ride I've ever had, very new and comfortable seats, also it was so quiet I could sleep in peace. Ultra friendly service, easy reservations online, train arrived on time like never before. Everything was like new. The train also arrived on time. The best price for this good trip.

Icongood service in the on-board restaurant
IconFast connection
IconRegular updates on connecting trains
Disadvantages
Iconbad wifi
Iconlittle delay
I took the ICE from Berlin Hauptbahnhof to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof at the end of last year and found this train journey very pleasant. The train was a little late, but the service on board was very convincing. The staff in the on-board restaurant were very friendly and you always got updates on connecting trains via announcements. Unfortunately, it was not possible to view these myself, as the wifi provided on the train was very poor. I arrived in Hamburg very quickly and very pleasantly and can only recommend this connection.
Advantages
IconStaff was friendly
IconSeats comfortable and well equipped
IconThe train was on time and had a pleasant atmosphere
Disadvantages
IconOnboard bistro dirty and unhygienic
The train from Berlin to Hamburg had been quite full, but the volume was still pleasant. The seats were comfortable and you had the possibility to access the internet or charge devices. The on-board bistro was open and the staff there were very friendly. The cleanliness in the passenger compartment and toilets had been very good, but the on-board bistro was very dirty, especially with lots of food left on the floor, overflowing bins and unhygienic tables. The train had been on time in the end and it was therefore a relaxed journey.

I recently took a trip from Berlin to Hamburg with Deutsche Bahn. The wifi was very strong. So my mobile phone and laptop could connect to it flawlessly. The staff on the train were very friendly. They were very polite and had a big smile on their face. Hygiene was extremely taken care of. I could find disinfectants everywhere and everything was just very clean. However, there was a lot of need to change trains. It was very noisy on the train. In addition, the train did not arrive in Hamburg on time, which frustrated me a bit. Overall, it was a satisfying journey.
Advantages

IconGood comfort
Disadvantages
IconSlight delay
IconA little expensive
The journey from Berlin Hauptbahnhof to Hamburg was really super pleasant. If everything goes well, you only need 1.5 hours with the new train line, which is really unbeatable fast. The newest trains run on the route, which is especially noticeable in the seats. You have more space (even in 2nd class), a power socket, great wifi and even a footrest. The on-board bistro now also serves many vegan options, which I really like. There are also many local products on offer (such as special beers and snacks). The train had a slight delay, but that was all within reason. Overall, I can only recommend the route.
Advantages
IconComfortable seats
IconNice staff
Disadvantages
IconSlight delay
Although we started in Berlin with a slight delay, the journey to Hamburg central station was very comfortable and fast. So the train made up for the delay on the way to Hamburg. They seats were comfortable and the staff on the train were very friendly and helpful. The reserved seat had a power socket for charging mobile phone and laptop. The seats were very comfortable.
Advantages
IconA reliable train connection
Disadvantages
IconNone
I had no problems whatsoever reserving this ticket online, just like reserving the seat. The train arrived on time and without complications. The seats were pleasantly clean and well padded, as well as comfortable, they had a headrest as well as an armrest. The staff were very friendly and able to help me. There was enough daylight coming in as the windows were clean, it was pleasantly quiet on the train, the toilet was clean and looked hygienic to me. I am happy to recommend this train connection.
Advantages
Iconcool atmosphere
IconAir conditioning
Iconcold drinks
This is the outward journey. As I didn't notice any weaknesses in the journey, I rate this journey with five stars and recommend it to others. When I arrived at the station, I saw that my train was already there. Then I got on. I looked for my seat and meanwhile I noticed how clean it was in the train. My seat was definitely very comfortable. It was very warm outside, but luckily there was air conditioning. The drinks were also cold and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was great. A great ride.

IconVery good coffee
All six of us liked this trip and we were all very satisfied and can recommend this trip, there were six of us and we travelled in second class. I especially liked the coffee, I drank an espresso. The train arrived on time. The seats were very comfortable. The staff were very nice. It was very clean on the train and also in the toilets. The internet was good and we had power sockets at the seats. A wonderful journey.
Advantages
IconFast train connection
IconGood equipment on the train
IconCleanliness of the train
Disadvantages
IconNothing
The route from Berlin to Hamburg is extremely good and the time flies by. The train was very well cleaned and the toilets were also spotless. The train was a bit fuller that day, but I was still able to find a seat. The power socket at my seat worked and I was also able to use the wifi without any problems during the entire train journey. We arrived in Hamburg on time and I really enjoyed my train journey in general.
Advantages
IconVery clean
IconGood ticket prices
IconGood comfort
Disadvantages
IconNo wifi
My train journey from Berlin to Hamburg was very pleasant. I would particularly like to emphasise the cleanliness of the train throughout, which was very important. This contributed to a very pleasant travelling atmosphere. I found the cost of the ticket to be reasonable, especially considering the comfort on offer. The seats were very comfortable and offered enough space. The equipment on the train was basic, but there was no wifi. And I actually thought that this was standard, but I was probably wrong. The journey time was also acceptable overall and there were no major delays. The service on board was also always friendly and efficient. So my train journey from Berlin to Hamburg was an extremely positive experience. The high level of cleanliness, the pleasant comfort, the fair price-performance ratio and the efficient service were really great. However, as already mentioned, the train's equipment could be improved. Even if wifi is not yet standard.
Advantages
IconGood food in the restaurant

IconGood equipment
Disadvantages
Iconunfriendly staff
Iconunclean toilets
IconTrain delay
The facilities on my train journey from Berlin to Hamburg were very good, wifi and sufficient power sockets were available. The comfort was also okay, except that my seat had a small tear on the edge. The service was only partly good, as the staff were very unfriendly. The train was generally clean, except once again for the toilets. Unfortunately the train was half an hour late, but the price was very reasonable.
Advantages

IconService
Disadvantages
IconWIFI
IconCleanliness
We spent the train journey from Berlin to Hamburg in the on-board restaurant. We had a very good lunch there. It was really delicious. The train compartment we booked was very noisy and unbearable. Thanks to the speed of the ICE, we were quickly back in Hamburg. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the wifi on the train is very poor and there are always interruptions to the wifi.
Advantages
IconSatisfactory comfort
IconVery nice service
IconVery clean
IconModern equipment
IconFair price-performance ratio
Disadvantages
IconThe train was late
My experience on the train journey from Berlin to Hamburg was really nice, but there were definitely some negative aspects. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the train - the carriages were tidy and inviting. The furnishings were pleasant and the seating comfort made for a relaxing journey. The service on board was friendly and courteous. In terms of value for money, the ticket was reasonable and the amenities on offer justified the cost. Unfortunately, a train delay spoilt the overall picture. Waiting times are always annoying, especially when you're on a tight schedule. There is certainly potential for improvement here to increase the overall satisfaction of travellers. Despite this challenge, however, the train journey remains a recommended option for the route from Berlin to Hamburg.
