I was travelling to Alicante on business and was very satisfied with the service. The train was on time and the staff were always ready to help. I spent 5 hours and 20 minutes on the train. During this time I noticed that it was very clean. The network connection was stable and I was able to do some organisational things during the journey. Recommendation.

The train journey from Barcelona to Alicante (train number Euromed 01172), was okay overall, but with some flaws. The train was a bit slow, with a longer journey time of about 5 hours, which made the journey a bit tiring. Also, the train was not particularly clean, especially the toilets could have been better maintained. On a positive note, however, the connection was direct and punctual and the ticket was very cheap. Acceptable for the price if you are prepared to allow extra time.

The journey took almost 7 hours and I didn't have to change trains. Unfortunately, there was no bistro. However, the staff were very helpful and I was able to relax. The toilets were also very hygienic and clean. The price was okay.

On our European tour, we mainly used the train as our means of transport. We were very impressed with the railway in Spain. These trains are very spacious and very modern. Despite a 6-hour journey, the journey was very pleasant. There is even a train from Barcelona to Alicante where you don't have to change trains. An absolute recommendation. We travelled on the Euromed and would do so again and again.
Advantages

All in all, the train service with train number 1028 was very good. I had to change trains once, which happened without any problems. The train was comfortable and clean, the journey was peaceful. The good wifi, which was stable throughout the journey and allowed me to work without any problems. The seats were cosy and the ride was enjoyable. It was a relaxed journey overall. I was able to buy something to eat.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconDelay
Unfortunately, the train connection with train number 1048 was not ideal. It took 6.5 hours, which was already long enough for me. I also had to change trains. The train arrived late, which caused further delays and increased the expense of travelling. There were no special amenities that would have made the long journey pleasant and the comfort during the journey was rather mediocre. The changeover was stressful and the journey was less enjoyable overall due to the delay. The wifi was excellent and I had an outlet but no bistro.
