Italy is world famous for its fantastic food and the Frecciarossa trains are no exception. Premium class customers will be served a welcome drink on arrival, with a choice between a soft drink, water, a hot beverage and a sweet or savory snack. There is also a gluten-free option, and for those traveling with their families, the Premium class ticket includes a welcome treat for children. If you are traveling in the morning, you will also receive a free newspaper.

Onboard the trains, there is also the FrecciaBistrò serving seasonal, Italian products with each of its menus. Frecciarossa are now introducing a new concept with their 3 course menu composed of a main dish, a snack, a dessert and a small bottle of water, all served to your seat by the restaurant staff. The elegant, new Frecciarossa 1000 trains are top of the line in their innovation and technology. These trains can reach a maximum speed of 248 mph (400 km/h) whilst the commercial maximum speed is 186 mph (300 km/h). The Frecciarossa 1000 is the first high-speed train to receive an EPD (Environmental Impact Certificate) thanks to its construction and emissions level which range at 28 micrograms per passenger (per km), as well as its design which minimizes sound and vibrations for an extra smooth journey.
