In addition to rail transit, buses offer transit services from the city center to the airport. The journey takes about 15 to 20 minutes, and costs about 12 euros. Lithuania Airport, the biggest of the four commercial airports in Lithuania, serves about 4.9 million passengers annually. Buses also offer affordable options to get to the airport with the tickets costing 1 euro, which can be purchased from the driver. The trip takes about 20 minutes. Though a bit expensive, travelers with a lot of luggage can consider taking a taxi. Taxis are readily available and cost about 15 to 17 euros. Walking is the primary transit mode in the town and will ensure that you won't miss anything. When hungry or tired, travelers can grab a snack, meal, or coffee from plenty of restaurants and fast food cafes available in the airport and the city center. ​
