The journey from Hamburg to Flensburg was very comfortable. It was quiet on the train and everything went according to plan. However, I had to go to the toilet during the journey. Unfortunately, the toilet had been defective and I had asked the staff about it. However, they answered me in a friendly and competent manner that there was no possibility. So I had to wait until my arrival.

I travelled from Hamburg to Flensburg. I travelled in second class on the ICE 384. The journey went very quickly, even though it was not an ICE. I did not make a reservation, but this was no problem as there were enough seats. The train makes a tidy impression and was clean. There were no delays. The staff were friendly. This train also had wifi.

The journey was on ICE 384 from Hamburg to Flensburg. The train was clean and in good visual condition. The seats were old but well-maintained and, above all, comfortable. The train was on time the whole way. The service on board could not be faulted, the staff were friendly. The only thing I would find fault with is that the train had no wifi. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant and fast train ride.

IconSomewhat dirty train
I travelled from Hamburg to Flensburg on IC 384. The journey was in 2nd class. In my opinion, the journey was a bit too long at two hours. The train was in a somewhat run-down condition. It was not really clean either. On the positive side, the train left and arrived on time. Next time I plan to take the ICE, as it shortens the journey considerably. Overall, I can rate the journey with three stars.
Advantages
IconStable wifi
IconPunctual
Disadvantages
IconEverything went wonderfully
The train connection from Hamburg to Flensburg was usually very punctual. There were rarely delays, and even when there were, passengers were informed of the reasons well in advance. The cleanliness was impressive. The seats, floors and windows were always neat and clean. The train crew obviously attached great importance to cleanliness. Most of the seats on the train were equipped with power sockets, which was very positive. The toilets on the train were fine, but could be cleaner. There was hand sanitiser and toilet paper, which was positive. However, the cleaning and maintenance of the toilets could be improved. There was wifi on the train, whose connection was always constant and very high. Overall, the train was a pleasant and comfortable way to travel
Advantages
IconPunctual and reliable
Disadvantages
IconActually none
The train left Hamburg on time and arrived in Flensburg with only a minimal delay. This train was exemplary in terms of accessibility. There was ample space for wheelchairs and other mobility aids. The availability of power sockets on the train was very helpful. This allowed me to charge my electronic devices while travelling. The toilets on the train were mostly clean and well maintained. The bistro on the train offered a selection of snacks and drinks at a fair price. Overall, the train connection from Hamburg to Flensburg was a pleasant travelling experience that I would gladly repeat.
Advantages
IconNo changeover necessary
IconSeats clean and comfortable with sufficient equipment
IconStaff friendly and not overwhelmed by the situation
Disadvantages
IconDelay of 10 minutes
Iconprevious bar much off
IconHigh capacity utilisation and noisy atmosphere
Iconthere was only one toilet
Unfortunately, my train was cancelled on the journey between Hamburg and Flensburg, so I had to wait for the next day. As a result, the train was fuller and it was too noisy in the passenger compartment. There was also only one toilet on this train, which is why there was congestion in front of it. The journey was delayed by 10 minutes due to the many passengers boarding and alighting. Nevertheless, I liked the fact that there was no need to change trains. The seats were also clean and comfortable and there were plenty of facilities, such as power sockets and an internet connection. The staff were also friendly and not overwhelmed by the situation. Overall, I found this journey quite below average.
Advantages

IconRegional railway
IconUtilisation
Disadvantages
IconNo wifi
Although I "only" travelled from Hamburg to Flensburg by regional train, the journey was smooth and very comfortable, which surprised me very positively. The train was barely full and the seats were extremely comfortable and well-padded. The staff were relaxed and did their job well. The toilets, doors and passage gates in the carriages also all worked perfectly. I am very satisfied, especially for the good price.
Advantages
IconHassle-free booking
IconGood signposting
IconPunctuality
Disadvantages
IconEverything went smoothly
Booking the ticket was really easy, in my opinion, everything was easy to understand. The train arrived on time and departed exactly as scheduled, the seats were very spacious, there was plenty of legroom and a folding table was built into the seat so that you could put your smartphone etc. on it. The staff were very friendly and were able to answer all my questions. The toilets on the train were very clean, often free and well equipped. The internet connection on the train was excellent and you could keep up with the media during the journey. The price-performance ratio was okay, but could be a little more favourable. Otherwise, I was very satisfied with this train journey and would happily repeat it.
Advantages
IconReliable train connection
IconAffordable ticket
Disadvantages
IconEverything was fine
The train connection surprised me, it arrived on time, made a decent impression and also departed on time. The seats on the train were very spacious, clean and comfortable, the upholstery looked fresh and the seats were adjustable and had a working power socket. The toilets on the train were often free, very clean and well equipped. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The value for money was fine, I got this ticket quite cheaply in my opinion. A train connection worth recommending.
