This regional express had been very full. Especially because of the loudness, no relaxation had been possible. Nevertheless, the train was very clean and the seats comfortable. There were power sockets and an internet connection and the staff had a friendly gesture. There was also a snack machine. The journey was made without changing trains and the train had not been delayed.

IconCleanliness
I often drive this route and there is always a roadworks, diversion or breakdown somewhere. Unfortunately, this is very annoying and often only communicated at very short notice. Otherwise, Deutsche Bahn runs on this route and there are power sockets at every station. They are great and work well. The wifi is amazingly good, so I can work on the journey. I can't rate the toilets, but the general cleanliness of the train leaves a lot to be desired. I would like it if there was a train every half hour, but you can be satisfied with an hour in between. The staff are friendly and the train is otherwise punctual.

I travel this route often. Thanks to the flexible hourly departure options, spontaneous travel is easy. The loading option in the Regio directly at the seat is perfect for working or just looking at something. The train was very clean and the train attendant was very nice. I find the fast connection super, as I am often faster with Regio than with the car. The only negative point was the wifi, which didn't work all the time this time. It did last time.

Overall, the journey was very satisfactory. The DB staff dealt quickly and efficiently with any problems that arose. It was also very nice to watch the track. The train travelled at high speed for the entire journey, so we arrived quickly. A route change was also made at lightning speed, which saved a huge amount of time. Very impressive response from the DB team.
Advantages
IconPunctual
Disadvantages

On the train from Berlin to Cottbus, I sat in their small first class section, which mainly had slightly different seats and more space at the seat. There were also plenty of power sockets. The seats were comfortable and I was able to spend the 1.5 hours in them very well. It was quite quiet due to the low occupancy rate in first class. The staff checked my ticket after a certain time without any problems. You can't make reservations on the train, but that wasn't a problem. The toilet was a bit old, but clean. It wasn't dirty in the rest of the carriage either. The train left on time and arrived in Cottbus on time. The price-performance ratio of €30 for the entire journey from my starting point to my final destination was perfectly acceptable.
