Getting into Krakow by Train

Much of Krakow's medieval past has survived making it an interesting choice for short city breaks. There are pleasant strolls along the banks of the River Vistula while important tourist attractions are the Museum of Contemporary Art, Schindler's Factory Museum and Royal Way in the Old Town. The Royal Way used to be the route taken by royal processions and the site where Polish kings were crowned and buried. At the end of the day warming local dishes and a lively nightlife wait for the city's visitors. Warsaw to Krakow trains terminate at Krakow Glowny Station, within easy walking distance of the Old Town. Glowny Station is at the heart of the city's public transport system of city railways, trams and buses, including frequent night buses. A taxi rank is located at ground level outside Krakow Glowny Station.
