Currently, Conil de la Frontera does not have a train station. For this reason the only way to get here by train is to travel by train to the neighbouring city of Cadiz, located 40 kilometres from the town of Conil. From Seville, the direct rail route to Cadiz takes an average of 1 hour and 40 minutes.
The Seville-Cádiz itinerary is covered by Medium Distance trains and their Long Distance counterparts operating under the commercial name of Alvia. The former run on conventional gauge tracks, while the Alvia also operate on high-speed lines. All Sevilla Conil de Frontera trains, via Cádiz, are direct and managed by Renfe.
The shortest trips between Seville and Cadiz last 1 hour and 30 minutes and are operated by Alvia's fleet. The rest of the Sevilla Conil de la Frontera trains, via Cádiz, take between 1 hour and 38 minutes and 1 hour and 45 minutes to cover this route.
From Monday to Friday, up to 17 daily trains connect Seville with Cadiz. On Saturdays and Sundays its frequency is reduced to 13 connections a day. The routes with fewer intermediate stops belong to Alvia: its trains stop only at Jerez, Puerto de Santa María and San Fernando Bahía Sur before arriving in Cádiz. The bus line 5 connects the station with other areas of the city, while the intercity bus line M-911 connects Cadiz with Conil de la Frontera.
