My train journey with the Deutsche Bahn RE was very pleasant. The train was very new and well equipped, so I could charge my mobile phone. You can get to Erlangen very quickly by train. For the price, I think it's great. However, the train was a bit full and the departure was late.
Advantages
IconClean passenger compartment
IconHardly any delays and no need to change trains
IconFriendly staff
IconComfortable seats with good equipment
Disadvantages
IconOnly toilet in the train defective
The train from Nuremberg to Erlangen was not very busy, so it was quite quiet on the train. The staff here were also friendly and greeted the passengers as they boarded. Unfortunately, the toilets here were broken, which was very restrictive for me as there was no other toilet on the train. Otherwise, the passenger compartment on the train was very clean and the seats were comfortable. The facilities were also very good with plenty of power sockets and a stable internet connection. Overall, I enjoyed the journey as the train was hardly delayed and I didn't have to change trains.
