The train was unfortunately unpunctual and very full. Nevertheless, there are no better alternatives on this short route to get to Nuremberg. The price is okay and comfort is also good. Unfortunately, this train had no power sockets and no wifi. I wish the train had wifi as coverage is not that good on this route.
Advantages
IconMostly very relaxed ride
Disadvantages
IconFrequent delays
There are often power sockets, but the wifi is often poor. The seats are comfortable and the service is friendly. I can't say much about the toilets, the trains are not often punctual. The price is a bit expensive in my opinion, but otherwise quite OK.

The journey from Erlangen to Nuremberg of about 20 minutes by Regiobahn was a bit stressful... The hygienic condition of the Regiobahn was very bad... It smelled bad and was very dirty, especially the toilets... However, the price was very good and the staff was also totally friendly!

The wifi worked well on the train and the comfort was good. Comfortable seats and not too noisy. Friendly service. However, the cleanliness could be better. Fortunately, the train was on time. Value for money was good. Would recommend

Disadvantages

I found my journey from Erlangen to Nuremberg very relaxing. There weren't many people on the train, so it was also quite quiet. The seats were comfortable and had plenty of power sockets and very good legroom. There was also a stable internet connection on the train. The staff were friendly towards me and checked my ticket very quickly. The train was very clean and the toilets were hygienic. However, I was annoyed that there were no announcements on the train and there was no snack machine. Apart from that, everything else was fine, as the train arrived on time and I didn't have to change trains.
